A new report has claimed that WWE’s Talent Relations department reached out to a contracted AEW star in an effort to recruit them to WWE.

Since Triple H was named as WWE’s new Head of Creative in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement, he has brought a number of previously released stars back to the company.

These have included Hit Row, Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis, Karrion Kross and Scarlett. It has also been reported that a return for former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi is just around the corner.

Meanwhile, Lio Rush has been teasing that a return to the company could be on the cards by posting numerous pictures of his time in the company on social media.

Now, Fightful Select has reported that the company’s recruitment efforts haven’t ended there with the company having seemingly reached out to a “notable” AEW star with an offer to move there.

The star is said to have reported the communication to higher-ups in the promotion, feeling that they deserved to know even though they have no intention of leaving AEW.

Additionally, it was reportedly WWE’s Talent Relations department that made contact with the unnamed individual who has been confirmed to be under a full-time contract with AEW.
