WWE have announced that WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka is set to return to action against one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler.
Asuka hasn’t been seen on WWE television since having a tooth knocked out by a particularly stiff kick from Baszler on the February 22nd edition of the red brand. The Japanese star had been teaming with former partner Charlotte Flair against the women who defeated them for the tag team titles Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
It had originally been speculated that the ‘Empress Of Tomorrow’ could be a doubt for WrestleMania due to the concussion she sustained during the incident. However, the same report did also leave the door open for an earlier return and that has proven to the case.

Asuka has held the RAW Women’s Championship since SummerSlam, but has been an infrequent presence on WWE’s flagship show in recent weeks.
It’s a big week for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions as Nia Jax prepares to face the SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks on the upcoming edition of the blue brand.
Jax and Baszler will then head to Fastlane where they will defend their titles against the uneasy team of Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks.
Meanwhile, already announced for RAW, The Hurt Business will defend their RAW Tag Team Titles against the New Day and Mustafa Ali is set to challenge Matt Riddle for his United States Championship. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is also due to appear on the show.
