Roman Reigns’ return to WWE RAW has sparked a lot of discourse online about what it means for Seth Rollins. There’s a lot of unpack from the latest episode of RAW, after what can be called a great weekend of wrestling.
The latest episode of WWE RAW capped off a great weekend of pro wrestling, starting with All In, NXT Great American Bash, Goldberg’s retirement, Naomi winning the women’s world title, and the return of Roman Reigns. Unfortunate news was also on the cards for wrestling fans, with Adam Cole and Seth Rollins both getting injured.
Now, with RAW coming to an end, The OTC finally taking us to the Island of Relevancy, let us acknowledge how Triple H and his creative team tricked us once again to grab the headlines, despite the abysmal news coming out of Saturday Night’s Main Event with Rollins’ injury.
Let us check out the winners and losers from WWE RAW, dated July 15, 2025.
#4. Winner – Naomi is on WWE RAW
Naomi finally got a change of scenery after making her official return to WWE RAW. The star won the Women’s World Title after cashing in on IYO SKY during her match against Rhea Ripley at Evolution. On RAW, it was confirmed that she would be going up against Ripley and SKY in a defense of her title at SummerSlam. Despite Ripley being inserted into the championship picture again for no reason, Naomi being on the red brand feels fresh and exciting.

It has been a while since some new faces have been introduced to either brands, and Proceed With Caution becoming the biggest heel on the brand after the heartbreaking injury suffered by Liv Morgan feels like a step in the right direction.
#3. Loser – WWE silently broke up A-Town Down Under
After building up their story and tumultuous partnership for years, WWE seems to have silently broken up A-Town Down Under. The stars were a tag team for 662 days and were seen constantly bickering over the last few weeks. However, on the latest episode of RAW, Grayson Waller appeared alongside The New Day, and Austin Theory was nowhere to be seen.

It seems that all this build-up led to nothing as the former tag team champs were unceremoniously broken up. There could be some other reasoning for Theory’s absence, but those were not addressed on RAW/
#2. Winner and Loser – Hall of Famer has her first WWE RAW match in seven years
The first hour of RAW was all women, and for good reason, after everyone’s exceptional performances at Evolution. However, one moment that stood out was Nikki Bella’s first match on WWE RAW in 2500 days. The star has been a pioneer for all the women’s wrestlers around the world and has done a great job in maintaining fitness en route to her wrestling return. On the latest episode of RAW, she defeated Chelsea Green to secure a victory.

However, it now seems that she will be getting a new ally in Stephanie Vaquer. While it’s good to see Chelsea Green getting prominence on RAW and making a name for herself, pairing Nikki Bella with Stephanie Vaquer makes little sense given the immense popularity the latter is already enjoying. Having Bella feud with Green would have been a great way to get both stars over.
#1. Roman Reigns’ return could be the end for Seth Rollins’ faction
Without Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns could potentially have a field day with Rollins’ faction. Despite the presence of Paul Heyman, neither Bronson Reed nor Bron Breakker has the guile or experience to deal with Reigns, Jey Uso, and potentially even CM Punk. The Visionary is a master manipulator, and his absence on WWE RAW could mean that the faction will be short-lived.
Reigns would like to walk all over Breakker and Reed as he continues his journey to regaining his world title. The OTC could eventually feud with Rollins in a dream match that has been years in the making. Now that he will likely align with CM Punk and Jey Uso, very few can actually stop Reigns from taking over RAW once again. A weakened and vulnerable Breakker and Reed could easily flee Seth Rollins’ side for greener pastures, leaving only Paul Heyman to do The Visionary’s dirty work.

The Roman Reigns-Seth Rollins saga is only getting started, but will The Visionary’s faction be able to sustain this massive blow? Only time will tell.
