WWE Raw Star Returns From Injury At Recent Live Event

WWE Raw Star Returns From Injury At Recent Live Event

WWE Superstar Ricochet made his return to the ring at a non-televised event.

The former Intercontinental Champion was back in action at a house show in Bangor, Maine on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd in Portland, Maine. The return matches saw the high-flyer defeat Bronson Reed on both occasions. The Raw Superstar last competed on the November 6th edition of the red brand, losing a 4-Way match to crown a new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. The other participants in the match were The Miz, Ivar and Bronson Reed.

The match on WWE Raw saw an unplanned finish take place due to the injury sustained to the Raw Superstar. The reported original finish of the match was meant to see Miz and Ivar simultaneously get pinfall victories on Reed and Ricochet. However, Ricochet kicked out, causing the referees and announcers to be confused by what had happened.

Ricochet Has No Memory Of WWE Raw Match

The former United States Champion was immediately assessed and placed into concussion protocol when he got to the back. A couple of days after the incident took place, Dave Meltzer gave an update on Wrestling Observer Radio, stating that the Raw star does not remember a lot of what took place during the match:

It’s concussion protocol. I don’t want to say concussion because it was not. As far as I know, it was not diagnosed as a concussion, but he’s fine. He doesn’t remember a lot of the match. I think was from what I understand was Miz talking him kind of through the match?

Although the high-flyer has not been announced for the December 4th edition of Raw at the time of writing, expect a televised return to be imminent following the non-televised match that took place.

Another return would also take place over the same weekend as a star from The Attitude Era made a surprise return to the ring.
