On July 1st WWE is taking Money In The Bank to the United Kingdom for the first time.
Since the event’s inception in 2010, it has never been held outside of the United States, but that will all change when the Premium Live Event heads to the 02 Arena in London, England.
On the May 22nd episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that qualifiers will begin on May 29th to decide the participants in the men’s and women’s Ladder Matches. This has naturally sparked speculation over not only who will be involved, but who will go on to win the famous briefcases.
Someone who has emerged as a favourite is Damian Priest. Although his involvement hasn’t been confirmed on television, WRKD Wrestling reports that the star is planned to be part of the match, furthermore, he’s now seen as a “potential main eventer” after his performance at Backlash with Bad Bunny.
“Damian Priest is another name currently planned for the upcoming Money in the Bank match. Priest has been mentioned in creative as a “potential main eventer” after putting on an incredibly well received match with Bad Bunny.”
WWE Still Has Big Plans For LA Knight
WRKD Wrestling has also reported that those backstage are still high on LA Knight. The star is incredibly popular with fans despite still technically being a heel and not being involved in a major program. The report notes that the crowd reactions “haven’t gone unnoticed” and he is still being considered as a potential Money In The Bank winner.
Knight is due to take part in a qualifying match against Montez Ford on the June 3rd edition of SmackDown.
