John Cena is back on WWE Raw.
While there’s no word on exactly what the 16-time World Champion will be doing on the show, it is believed that he will be interacting with Austin Theory in some way. It has long been rumoured that the pair will meet at WrestleMania 39.
In another segment expected to set up a match at WrestleMania, Seth Rollins and Logan Paul once again come face-to-face.
Meanwhile, in the ring, Solo Sikoa takes on Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn meets Jimmy Uso. Finn Balor goes one-on-one against Johnny Gargano and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will be battling with Carmella in a non-title match.
Then there’s the small matter of Vince McMahon being backstage.
WWE Raw Results – March 6th
- Kevin Owens def Solo Sikoa via DQ. Sikoa was disqualified after Jimmy Uso interfered. With a beatdown in full swing, Sami Zayn ran in to take out Uso and Sikoa. Zayn offered his hand to Owens but KO rolled out of the ring.
- Backstage promo from Bobby Lashley. The All-Might said that he’s tired of Bray Wyatt’s games. Wyatt’s logo repeatedly flashed up in the background.
- Bianca Belair def Carmella. After the match Chelsea Green who had been at ringside attacked Belair, Asuka came down to make the save, and delivered the mist to Green.
- Sami Zayn catches up with Kevin Owens backstage, and pleads with KO to work with him against The Bloodline. Owens again turns him down, and tells him to go back to Roman Reigns.
- Seth Rollins and Logan Paul face off with The Miz acting as peacekeeper. The crowd gives Rollins a massive ovation and sings his theme over and over. Paul tells Rollins that he’s achieved in one year what it took The Visionary 20 years to achieve. Rollins says everyone hates Paul as he’s the scum of the earth. Paul says he’ll fight Rollins on a bigger stage with bigger money at play. Rollins attacks Miz, gets into a fight with Paul, turns into a huge right hand from the YouTube star, and gets laid out.
- Omos def Dolph Ziggler. MVP cuts promo aimed at Brock Lesnar.
- Maximum Male Models backstage, Corbin interrupts. Maxxine tells Corbin if he takes out Gable, she’ll consider taking him on as a client.
- Johnny Gargano def Finn Balor after interference by Edge.
- Piper Niven def Nikki Cross
- John Cena returns, is interrupted by Austin Theory. United States Champion offers him a match at WrestleMania but Cena turns it down. After some back and forth and Cena running down Theory, he eventually agrees to the match. Brings out Cody Rhodes to the ramp to close the segment.
- Chad Gable def Baron Corbin
- Lita and Becky Lynch came to the ring to celebrate their title win last week and were joined by Trish Stratus. The trio was interrupted by Damage CTRL, Stratus challenged them to a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania. Bayley accepted on behalf of her team.
- Sami Zayn def Jimmy Uso after Jey Uso appeared which distracted his brother. After the match, it appeared Jey was going to side with Zayn but hit him with a Superkick. This led to a beatdown of Zayn by The Usos and Solo Sikoa. Cody Rhodes ran in to make the save to end the show.
