This week’s WWE Raw saw Drew McIntyre battled Finn Balor in the main event while Bron Breakker was in action against Ilja Dragunov.

It’s WWE Raw from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on commentary.

Drew McIntyre started the show off with a promo talking about becoming World Heavyweight Champion at Clash at the Castle while complaining about the champion Damian Priest needing The Judgment Day’s help to try to beat him. The World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest interrupted with Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Priest claimed he didn’t need The Judgment Day’s help to beat McIntyre. Priest suggested that McIntyre face Balor and if Drew wins then The Judgment Day is barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle, but if Balor wins then they are all allowed at ringside. Drew agreed to it.

The segment also saw a reference to a top TNA star on WWE Raw.

The Judgment Day’s clubhouse was shown where Dominik Mysterio saw Liv Morgan with the Women’s World Title. Dominik wasn’t interested in her being there. Liv had her hotel room key with her as she flirted with Dominik. Liv said that a guy like Dominik shouldn’t be with a woman who he calls “Mami” when Live would call him Daddy. Liv left her key and told Dominik she’ll be in her room waiting. After Liv left, Dominik put the room key down on the table showing he had no interest in her deal.

Match #1: IYO SKY (w/Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane) defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall. Lyra hit her Nightwing finisher, but Kai broke up the pin without the referee seeing it. Sky did a hair pull takedown leading to a crucifix pin for the win.

After the match, Kai & Sane beat up Lyra with some strikes. Sky went into the ring to attack with strikes on Lyra. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance ran out there for the save as Damage CTRL retreated.

There was a backstage scene where Dominik Mysterio informed The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh and their buddy Carlito that Liv left Dom her hotel room key. Carlito: “That’s cool.” They went to a break there.

Sami Zayn was backstage talking to Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa about how they didn’t have to listen to Chad Gable. Otis walked into the screen apologizing to Zayn for attacking him last week. Otis said he has lost everything like his Money in the Bank briefcase, his peach (Mandy Rose), Tucky (former tag team partner Tucker) and said that Chad Gable has always been there for him. Zayn told Otis that he needs to realize how special he can be. The fans were chanting “Otis” by the end of it.

Damian Priest talked to The Judgment Day guys (plus Carlito) in their clubhouse. He learned about Liv Morgan giving Dominik Mysterio the hotel room key. Finn Balor said that the key was right here, but it was not actually at the table. They didn’t know where it was.

A video aired about Ludwig Kaiser saying he was aware of people thinking he’s just a sidekick and Gunther’s mouthpiece. Kaiser bragged about beating Sheamus due to absolute ruthlessness. Kaiser said anybody who stands in his way will be eliminated. Ludwig said that the Rise of the Kaiser has begun and soon you will call him Mr. Money in the Bank.

Match #2: Braun Strowman and LWO – Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee (w/Zelina Vega) defeated Carlito and The Judgment Day – Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh by pinfall. Liv Morgan showed up on the apron near the end and Vega knocked her off the apron so that Morgan landed on Dominik on the floor in a mounted position. After Braun got the hot tag, he cleaned house and dominated Carlito. Lee got the win for his team when he did a splash off Braun’s shoulders and pinned Carlito.

Damage CTRL was backstage. Iyo Sky shouted: “Damage CTRL has to change.” Sky was screaming as she left the screen while Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane were standing by looking concerned.

Sami Zayn, the Intercontinental Champion, did a promo in the ring about his rivalry with Chad Gable. Zayn said that on Saturday at Clash at the Castle, he’s going to defeat Chad Gable and put an end to all of this once and for all. Chad Gable interrupted with Alpha Academy’s Otis, Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri with a boot on her left foot. Gable told Zayn not to worry about the Academy because they are good and they trust him. Gable spoke about their hero taking Zayn’s IC Title on Saturday. Zayn asked Gable if he was out of his damn mind. Zayn asked Gable if they looked happy. None of the AA people were smiling. Zayn told them they won’t be happy until they leave Gable’s sorry ass once and for all. Gable told Zayn that they are a family that sticks together no matter what. Gable said he’s unleashing the version of Otis that is the most brutal and vicious version of Otis that you have ever seen. Gable said he’s unleashing him right now. Otis approached the ring as the show went to break.

Match #3: Sami Zayn defeated Otis (w/Chad Gable, Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri) by pinfall. Otis was distracted by Gable yelling at him, so Zayn hit him with a Helluva Kick. It went about two minutes.

After the match, Gable attacked Zayn from behind. Gable told Tozawa & Dupri to leave. Gable held Zayn and wanted Otis to attack, but Otis didn’t do it. Gable slapped Otis in the face two times in a row. Otis ran and hit Zayn with a running clothesline. Otis hit a World’s Strongest Slam on Zayn. Otis confronted Gable against the turnbuckle and the fans were cheering, but Otis stopped himself. Otis left the ring while Gable had an evil smirk on his face.

The Miz found R-Truth backstage. Truth said they were facing the APA, but it was really AOP. Scarlett handed them the Death card.

A graphic was shown confirming that the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be on NXT on Tuesday.

Match #4: Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark defeated Unholy Union – Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn by submission. Baszler beat Fyre with the Kirifuda Clutch submission and Fyre passed out in the hold.

Baszler & Stark had a staredown with Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, who watched the match from ringside.

Match #5: Bron Breakker defeated Ilja Dragunov by pinfall. Bron slammed Ilja ribs-first onto the commentary table. After that, Bron worked over the ribs a lot and Bron hit a Spear for the win. It went 16 minutes.

After the match, Bron charged at Ilja on the floor, but Ricochet was there with a clothesline on Breakker. Ricochet dropkicked Bron over the barricade. Ricochet checked on Ilja at ringside.

Drew McIntyre was in the locker room when Sheamus showed up for a chat. Sheamus encouraged Drew to win at Clash at the Castle in his hometown. Drew told Sheamus to be there so they could have pints all night. Sheamus said he’d win Money in the Bank since Ludwig Kaiser said he wanted to win it. Drew said since he’ll be World Champion, he wants Sheamus to let him know when he cashes in. Sheamus said if he does it will be banger after banger after banger…and so on.

Match #6: The Awesome Truth – The Miz & R-Truth defeated Authors of Pain – Akam & Rezar (w/Karrion Kross, Scarlett & Paul Ellering) by pinfall. The Miz got a rollup on Akam to win.

Ricochet and Ilja Dragunov were shown backstage. Bron tackled Ilja into some equipment cases. Bron and Ricochet went fighting into the parking lot where Bron tossed Ricochet into a tractor trailer backstage. Bron launched Ricochet like a lawn dart into another truck that was back there. Bron went up some steps with Ricochet and Bron gave Ricochet a powerslam onto the windshield of a car. There were officials and referees there to stop it. The scene faded out.

After a break, Ricochet was loaded into an ambulance while on a stretcher. Samantha Irvin, WWE’s ring announcer on Raw, went with Ricochet in the ambulance because they are an engaged couple. That was likely Ricochet’s WWE departure as reported earlier on Monday.

Match #7: Drew McIntyre defeated Finn Balor by pinfall. Drew won with a Claymore Kick while staring at Damian Priest, who was on the ring apron.

Per the agreed-upon stipulation before the match, the win by McIntyre means he’ll face Priest at Clash at the Castle with The Judgment Day barred from ringside.

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre had a staredown. That was the end of the show.
