Drew McIntyre opens WWE RAW, calls out Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley

  • Similar promo to last month or two, discussed the changes between last WrestleMania and this upcoming WrestleMania.
  • Continues to discuss his sacrifices for the industry including not being there during his mum’s battle with cancer.
  • Lashley comes out, calls McIntyre a great former Champion but restates former.
  • Corbin comes out and restates that after tonight, McIntyre won’t make it to WrestleMania after tonight.

Xavier Woods [w/ Kofi Kingston] defeats AJ Styles [w/ Omos] via pinfall [Roll-Up]

  • Pre-match segment with The New Day and Riddle during which Riddle states he has never seen someone get a high as Kingston when he was thrown by Omos last week.
  • Omos gets hit over the head by the ring mic following a throw from Kingston providing a distraction for Woods to roll up Kingston for the quick sub two-minute win.

Braun Strowman previews Shane McMahon’s despise at WrestleMania, Braun Strowman defeats Elias and Jaxson Ryker via pinfall [Running Powerslam]

  • Segment starts with a recap of the build to this match all the way back at Elimination Chamber.
  • Strowman explains to McMahon why accepting this match is the stupidest thing Shane has ever done.
  • Braun continues stating that he is going to win this match just not for him but for everyone who has ever been called stupid.
  • McMahon compliments Strowman decision to choose a Steel Cage match calling it almost not-stupid.
  • Before leading into the match, Shane states that he is not any man he is a McMahon.
  • Elias and Ryker beat down Braun Strowman before The Monster Amongst Men lays out both competitors and picks up the win.
  • Post-match, during a backstage segment, The Miz and Morrsion deface Bad Bunnies near four million dollar Bugatti with red paint.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeat Asuka & Rhea Ripley via pinfall, Ripley turns heel.

  • Tag Team turmoil announced for WrestleMania Night 1 featuring The Riott Squad, The BOAT and The YACHT, Lana and Naomi and Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.
  • The winner on N1 will face Shayna and Nia on N2.
  • Ripley and Asuka struggle to operate effectively as a tag tam early on with the two engaging in a show off contest.
  • Asuka lays Bazler out with a German Suplex into a running Knee Strike.
  • Ripley knocks Asuka off the turnbuckle and lays her out on the outside cementing her heel turn and feeding the win to the Champions.
  • Post-match, Alexander & Benjamin confront MVP grabbing him by the collar and threatening him for his betrayal.
  • Additionally all the members of the Tag Team Turmoil match and Billie Kay appear backstage to confront Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.

Bobby Lashley [w/ MVP] defeats Cedric Alexander via submission [The Hurt Lock]

  • Before the bell, Benjamin and Alexander jump Lashley with the intention of leaving a scar ahead of the WrestleMania Main Event.
  • Lashely handily disposes of Benjamin before working over Alexander in the corner of the ring.
  • Alexander is sent into the LED Turnbuckle by Lashley from a Fireman’s Carry position
  • Whilst MVP discusses the futility of his aggression Alexander hits a series of Suicide Dives through the middle rope onto Lashley.
  • The tables turn when Lashley connects with the Dominator onto Alexander as Benjamin pleads at ringside.
  • Lashley locks in The Hurt Lock and is awarded the win by referees decision.

Bad Bunny and Damien Priest confront The Miz and John Morrison, Tag Match confirmed for WrestleMania.

  • Earlier in the night, Miz and Morrison destroyed Bad Bunn’s Bugatti before jumping him from behind sending him into a parked car.
  • Damien Priest states that The Miz crossed the line tonight and given that John Morrison cannot stay out of Bad Bunny’s business let’s make the WrestleMania match a tag team match.
  • Bad Bunny runs down why he came her and why he loves this industry and states that this experience with The Miz has tainted his WWE experience.
  • Bunny states that at WrestleMania he is going to whip The Miz’s ass and teach him how to respect.
  • Appearing over the tron, The Miz and John Morrison state that Bad Bunny does not belong here and in the tag match on Saturday he will prove it.

Riddle defeats Mustafa Ali via pinfall [Bro-Derick]

  • Pre-match, Sheamus speaks to Mustafa Ali asking him to leave some of Riddle for him to destroy at WrestleMania.
  • Sheamus is on commentary for the duration of the match.
  • Riddle rolls through with a belly to belly suplex whilst Sheamus shouts on yer bike fella.
  • Ali takes advantage of Riddle’s lack of attention when he grabbed Sheamus’ hat and wore it at ringside.
  • Returning from the ad-break Riddle is fighting Ali of his back before coming down on the former RETRIBUTION leader with a back body drop.
  • Ali gets several near-falls however Riddle valiantly kicks out and breaks out of every attempt.
  • Eventually, Riddle connects with Bro-Derick to pick up a convincing pinfall victory.

Drew McIntyre defeats Baron Corbin via pinfall [Claymore Kick]

  • MVP is once again on commentary for the match, providing a distraction on many occasions to allow Corbin to gain the advantage.
  • Discussing the split of The Hurt Business, MVP states if it doesn’t make money it doesn’t make sense.
  • McIntyre unloads on Corbin with a series of belly-to-backs before following up with a failed Future Shock DDT attempt.
  • The match continues for a while with Corbin having a number of opportunities to go for pinfalls but spends to much time “admiring his work”.
  • MVP reminds Corbin that his demand was to destroy McIntyre not to beat him and hands him a cane to utilise as a weapon.
  • McIntyre connects with a Claymore kick to pick up a dominant victory.
