WWE RAW Live Results – September 8, 2025 – BABYFACE TURNS HEEL ON RAW; AJ Lee’s First Match After 10 Years Confirmed; John Cena Update; Major Star MISSING; Contract Signing & more

Hi everyone!

Welcome to ITR Wrestling’s live coverage of WWE RAW. This week, AJ Lee will return to RAW after 3800 days and after the thunderous comeback on SmackDown. The Usos plan future plan of action against The Vision. Stephanie Vaquer and IYO Sky sign the contract for their match at Wrestlepalooza.

Jey Uso

LA Knight attacked; Jimmy Uso defies brother Jey Uso

Post match, The Vision pounce on LA Knight. Jimmy Uso runs out but is outnumbered. Bron Breakker grabs a steel chair to attack Jimmy but Jey Uso runs out with a save.

Bronson Reed climbs up the top rope for a tsunami which Knight breaks up by hitting him with a steel chair.

The Vision retreat. Jimmy Uso comforts Knight. Jey Uso suddenly spears Knight out of nowhere as Jimmy looks on horrified.

LA Knight

Main Event: LA Knight vs. Bronson Reed

LA Knight starts the match with punches to Bronson Reed sending him into the corner.

Reed moves out of the corner and charges at Knight who dodges at the last minute. Reed sends Knight flying out of the ring as Bron Breakker lurks.

Reed gets Knight back in the ring and gets him with a brutal slam. The Megastar’s efforts to fight back are brought to a halt by a vicious clothesline.

Bron Breakker takes a cheap shot at Knight while the referee is distracted with Bronson Reed.

Reed mocks the Usos and lunges at The Megastar who trips him as he falls on the post. Knight follows it up with punches and kicks into the corner as the fans hype him up.

LA Knight clears the commentator’s desk after sending Reed over the barricade. He hops on the table and jumps on to the barricade laying out Reed. The two are back in the ring with multiple back and forths.

Knight sets Reed for the BFT, Breakker climbs up the apron. A distracted Knight is hit with a Jagged Edge by Reed and pinned.

Result: Bronson Reed def. LA Knight

John Cena

John Cena announced for WWE RAW next week after Brock Lesnar's attack on SmackDown

Backstage, Nikki Bella runs into The Kabuki Warriors and the confrontation gets heated. Rhea Ripley gets involved asking Asuka if there’s an issue and they should focus on IYO Sky’s upcoming title match.

Asuka

Asuka vs. Nikki Bella

Asuka taunts Nikki Bella as she counters her jump off the ropes. They roll out of the ring. Asuka puts Kairi Sane in front her to prevent an attack. Bella shoves Sane away but Asuka kicks her in the head.

They brawl before rolling back into the ring. They get up to their feet and continue to trade blows. Asuka charges at Bella in the corner and is met with a big boot.

The Empress of Tomorrow recovers and goes for a dropkick off the top rope which Bella counters with a dropkick of her own. Bella with a clothesline to Asuka into the corner. She hits Asuka with a kick off the middle rope and goes for a pin, Asuka kicks out in time.

Asuka sets up the Asuka Lock which Nikki Bella manages to reverse. She hits Asuka with an Alabama Slam and sets up the cover but her opponent kicks out. Asuka is successful in the Asuka Lock on Nikki Bella forcing her to tap out.

Result: Asuka def. Nikki Bella

LA Knight

Jimmy Uso tries to bring piece with LA Knight

Jimmy Uso approaches LA Knight backstage after the unfortunate incident with Jey earlier on the show.

Dominik Mysterio

WWE fans going soft on Dominik Mysterio on RAW?!

Victor Joseph interviews Dominik Mysterio and congratulates him on retaining the IC Title against AJ Styles last week on RAW. He is met with cheers from the fans in a rare turn of events.

The young Mysterio talks about his upcoming title match against Vikingo on Friday at Worlds Collide.

Rusev

Penta vs. Rusev

Rusev gets Penta with chops right across the chest. The masked star hits his opponent with a hurricanrana forcing him to roll out of the ring. Rusev slams him on the apron.

Rusev sends Penta flying head first on the announcer’s table. He turns around to charge at Penta through the steel steps but the masked star moves out of the way.

Penta now with hellish kicks to Rusev in the ring. The Bulgarian’s strength overpowers him enabling him to gain control of the match in his favor.

The New Day run out to the ring to distract Penta. Rusev turns around and does not seem too pleased either.

Penta uses the distraction to hit his opponent with the Mexican Destroyer and a pin that ends in a two-count.

Penta climbs up the top rope. Xavier Woods follows him, leaving him unbalanced. He flies off the rope and meets with a brutal kick mid-air. Rusev pins Penta for the win.

Result: Rusev def. Penta

Bayley

Bayley is haunted by her past again on RAW

WWE RAW airs a Bayley vignette where she’s tearful about hurting Lyra Valkyria, and the few other people she’s attacked in the past deserved it. And doesn’t know how Lyra can find it to forgive her when she can’t even forgive herself.

Bayley is haunted by voices of her villainous past. She responds that she’ll ‘make it right’.

AJ Lee

AJ Lee returns to WWE RAW

AJ Lee is out here with the Women’s IC Championship around her waist and is greeted with ‘welcome back’ chants from the fans,

AJ Lee introduces herself as ‘your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler’. She talks about her retirement 10 years ago, how she hung up her Chuck Taylor’s and thought it was the end of her wrestling career for good.

Lee talks about her journey to accomplish her other dreams, her mental health journey. She cites that she was doing really well for a long time and when she watched RAW and it was nice to see him feud with John Cena, Seth Rollins and the likes but not Becky Lynch.

AJ Lee says there could’ve been a world where she and Lynch could’ve been friends before she laid hands on CM Punk.

The Man walks out and berates fans. She points out how AJ Lee stole her IC Championship belt but is met with hellacious boos from the fans.

Becky Lynch removes her glasses to show her black eye. AJ Lee tells her if she’s the best in the world then to enter the ring and get back the title. The fans start chanting ‘chicken’ at Lynch.

Becky Lynch calls for Seth Rollins to be in her corner. Rollins asks AJ Lee to return the title to which Lee responds with a pitch for a mixed tag team match between Rollins & Lynch vs. AJ Lee and CM Punk.

The World Champion responds that she’s been gone for a decade and has no idea how things work around here now.

CM Punk walks out with no music as Lynch looks on horrified. Punk lifts Rollins for the GTS but the champion manages to escape.

Seth Rollins accepts the match challenge for Wrestlepalooza. AJ Lee kisses the IC Title before throwing it out to The Man outside the ring.

Rusev

Penta wants an IC Title shot under any circumstance on WWE RAW

Backstage, The War Raiders tell Penta they have his back. Adam Pearce walks up to them and Penta tells him he has not been given a proper shot at the IC title. Rusev walks in and says he’s the next in line for the IC title. Pearce then announces a match between the two on RAW.

The New Day continues their mourning on RAW. Backstage, AJ Styles appreciates Dragon Lee for his help in the match on RAW. Jimmy Uso greets them and walks towards his brother Jey, who seems to be ready to leave the RAW arena.

Jey Uso says they’re going to make The Vision acknowledge them and smash them if they do otherwise. Jimmy says he’s starting to sound like Roman Reigns, Jey Uso walks away furiously.

Lyra Valkyria

Lyra Valkyria vs. Raquel Rodriguez

Valkyria with multiple shoulder tackles to Rodriguez but fails. She ends it with a dropkick as the crowd hypes her up. Valkyria follows it up with a dropkick through the ropes to Raquel on the outside.

Raquel Rodriguez catches Lyra’s crossbody mid-air off the top rope. She launches Valkyria on the post as she pulls at her arms and hair. Rodriguez is in control and focused on attacking Lyra’s lower back.

Rodriguez with Valkyria on her shoulder and sends her face first on the post. She sets her up for a superplex on the top rope. Valkyria fights back and goes for a sunset powerbomb but Rodriguez is grabbing onto the ropes. Lyra is successful in her attempt, she goes for a pin that ends in two-count.

Roxanne Perez creates a distraction. Lyra Valkyria climbs up the top rope, Raquel Rodriguez grabs her and hits with the Tijuana Bomb and pins her to win.

Result: Raquel Rodriguez def. Lyra Valkyria

Iyo Sky

Contract signing cancelled on RAW and Stephanie Vaquer is MISSING!

Backstage Adam Pearce informs IYO Sky that the contract signing is cancelled on RAW but the Wrestlepalooza match is on the match card. Nikk Bella asks them about Stephanie Vaquer’s whereabouts.

The Kabuki Warriors show up to assure IYO Sky. Asuka and Nikki Bella engaged in a heated exchange of words before laying down a challenge for RAW.

WWE RAW acknowledges AJ Lee’s return and the impact on social media.

AJ Styles

AJ Styles vs. El Grande Americano

AJ Styles with a sliding dropkick and punches to El Grande Americano as the latter makes his entrance. Styles sends Americano into the barricade.

He rolls him back into the ring and the bell officially rings to start the match. Styles wastes no time to take a series of punches to Americano outside the ring.

AJ Styles on the apron now, gearing up for The Phenomenal Forearm, another El Grande Americano masked star appears and grabs his leg. The OG El Grande Americano uses the distraction to his advantage and sends Styles into the steel steps.

Styles furiously lashes out at Grande Americano. The masked star counters and superkicks him in the face.

Americano walks the ropes with Styles who knocks him out. They grapple a while before Americano sets his opponent for the Styles Clash. The masked luchador outside the ring distracts the referee but Dragon Lee attacks him.

Americano goes for a roll up but AJ Styles reverses it into the Styles Clash on El Grande Americano and pins him for the win.

Result: AJ Styles def. El Grande Americano 

AJ Styles

AJ Styles reveals WWE conspiracy against him on RAW

AJ Styles claims there’s a conspiracy in WWE where someone is going out of their way to ensure he doesn’t have any backup in his corner. He say The Good Brothers are not around, Michin is on another brand and how everything so conveniently leaves him to fight alone.

Jey Uso

The Usos are reunited on WWE RAW

Corey Graves replaces Wade Barrett on WWE RAW commentary and addresses him being exiled mockingly.

Jey Uso says Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker messed up big time. Before he can get any more words in, the two Vision members make their entrance.

Breakker claims The Vision run Monday Night RAW, and is infuriated for The Usos’ family’s actions towards Paul Heyman, and putting him in the hospital.

Reed is able to shove him away from the ring to prevent an attack. Reed takes over the mic and says the only thing he wants for Roman’s family is to acknowledge the Tribal Thief.

Jimmy Uso responds to the shots taken at his SmackDown past. And proceeds to cite that it’s ‘MonJey Night RAW’.

The Usos say they are ready for a fight, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed refuse to fight right now. LA Knight attacks The Vision behind and all men brawl.

In the scuffle, LA Knight almost hits Jey Uso in the corner. He moves out but Reed launches at Jey Uso. The two quarrel as The Brons exit. Meanwhile, The Usos vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker is official for Wrestlepalooza.
