A WWE faction is set to switch brands in the new year.
Ahead of the new year, it was announced that a Talent Transfer Window would be in effect between Raw, SmackDown and NXT with there being the opportunity for stars to move brands. While top champions Cody Rhodes and Gunther have teased switches by being spotted with the General Managers of the opposing show, it has already been confirmed that Logan Paul will be on Raw and Braun Strowman will be on SmackDown for the foreseeable future.
Shortly before the Talent Transfer Window was announced, Cody Rhodes was interrupted by Chad Gable on the December 8th SmackDown, leading to a match between them both later that night.
As reported on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass podcast, WrestleVotes stated that Gable, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile, known collectively as American Made, are all set to become members of the SmackDown roster in 2025:
“Our last little nugget here is we are told to expect American Made to shift over to SmackDown during the New Year, with many in the company having high hopes for all members. There is a feeling within creative that placing younger talents on SmackDown specifically, like the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile, will do wonders, considering the move to three hours. Of course, Chad Gable is well positioned, positioned in his mid-level, high-end type of worker role, so we’ll see where that goes.”
Absent WWE Star To Appear For International Promotion?
With the Raw on Netflix premiere approaching fast and the road to WrestleMania beginning at the Royal Rumble, many stars are set to return from hiatus soon to be a part of the most important shows on the calendar. However, one absent WWE star has been teased to return to the ring, but for Pro Wrestling NOAH instead.
In other news, a new WWE Championship is not on the way.
