WWE Raw Facing Uncertainty Towards The End Of 2024

WWE are looking to fill a major gap in scheduling later in the year.

The wrestling world is still coming to terms with the fact that Raw will be moving to streaming in 2025 as WWE announced a multi-billion dollar partnership with Netflix. Although the news is historic and will change the way that fans watch the flagship show, there is an issue regarding the timelines.

While January 2025 will see the new deal with Netflix begin, the last day of September 2024 is when the current deal with the USA Network finishes, meaning that there is no official destination for the long-running show for the last 3 months of the year.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that the USA Network will not be extending their deal to broadcast the flagship show and that should expect an announcement in the near future:

“I guess the unanswered question is what happens to draw after the end of September of this year, because in January, it’s going to Netflix, and at the end of September, the [USA] contract is up. USA Network has told Brandon Thurston that they are not airing it after the end of September. So it’s not like they’ll gonna go three more months on USA. WWE told me that they will make an announcement relatively soon about that. So they have. I guess they have something. What it is, I don’t know. Maybe they’ll go on Netflix early. I’m not really sure.”

WWE Fans Outside The USA Receive Further News

Since 2015, the majority of fans outside the United States have relied on the original streaming service to watch Premium Live Events and retro programming. In an update following the new agreement, the future of the WWE Network has been confirmed.
