WWE Protecting SmackDown Star For Future Clash With Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns holding up both world titles after beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania

Roman Reigns could soon be set for another intrafamily battle.

Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut at Clash at The Castle back in September 2022 and immediately aligned with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Over the following six months, the star has proven to be a valuable member of the group acting as their silent enforcer.

Interestingly, Sikoa is also yet to submit or be pinned since moving to the main roster. It has now been reported that there’s a very good reason for this outside of WWE wanting to help The Bloodline look strong. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer compared how Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Sikoa have been treated in their recent matches. Meltzer suggested that Sikoa is being “saved” for a match with Roman Reigns in the future.

“When he [Sami Zayn] wrestled Corbin, if they saw him as a top guy like they saw Cody Rhodes… Cody Rhodes ran through Corbin like it was nothing. Sami sold the whole match and then got his win. With Solo [vs Kevin Owens], they ended on a double countout because they’re not going to beat Solo. Because they’re saving Solo for Roman whenever that day comes. But with Sami (vs Sikoa), Samoan Spike and he pins him.”
