WWE broadcaster Kayla Braxton has hit out at fans for their negative reaction to Liv Morgan on the latest edition of SmackDown.
On the August 5th edition of SmackDown, Liv Morgan came to the ring and spoke to Kayla Braxton about her title defence at SummerSlam against Ronda Rousey.
Morgan picked up the victory by reversing an Arm Bar into a pin, however, the win was controversial as the champion tapped out before Rousey’s shoulders were counted to the mat, although this was missed by the referee.
On SmackDown, Morgan was wearing a protective sling on her arm and explained that she only tapped because she thought she had already pinned Rousey.
During the segment, sections of the crowd loudly booed Morgan and began chanting for Ronda Rousey and Braxton looked noticeably annoyed at the reaction.
Following the show, Braxton took to Twitter to explain that she was annoyed because she felt the chants were disrespectful and Liv Morgan is a deserving champion so people should be quiet when she is speaking.
“For those wondering why I looked annoyed – I was disappointed with the disrespectful chants towards our SD Womens Champion. @YaOnlyLivvOnce is so deserving so hush it when she speaks!”

In the end, it was Shayna Baszler who emerged victorious to earn a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Champion in the UK.
