WWE officially announces a huge Battle Royal match.
In less than a month, WWE is set to host its upcoming women’s exclusive PLE, Evolution 2. Making a huge comeback after its initial edition in 2018, four matches have already been announced for the show.
With the NXT Women’s Championship, Women’s tag-team titles, and Women’s World Championship all booked on the card, Raw and SmackDown general managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis made another huge announcement on the June 30th episode of Raw.
In a pre-recorded backstage segment, the two officials announced the return of the iconic women’s Battle Royal match at the event. The duo even hinted at a title match opportunity for the winner at the upcoming Clash in Paris PLE on August 31st, 2025.
Last time, Nia Jax won the event, and it is to be seen who emerges as the winner this year. With the stakes so high, every competitor now has a bigger purpose to fight. Later in the episode, Stephanie Vaquer confirmed her appearance for the Battle Royal on the 30th June episode of Raw.
Possible Details On Canceled WWE Evolution 2 Match
Earlier this year, after Hall of Famer Nikki Bella returned ahead of the Evolution 2 PLE, speculations and rumors emerged about her in-ring return. Nikki Bella was heavily rumored to face Liv Morgan at the women’s exclusive PLE on June 13 in Atlanta, Georgia.
However, after Morgan’s recent injury, it seems that the match has now been canceled. No other update has been officially shared for Bella’s future.
