Since Triple H took over the creative reigns of WWE, one of the changes he has made is to plan shows several days in advance and stick to those plans. However, the latest episode of Raw seems to have been an exception.
The show saw the announced match between Maximum Male Models and The OC being postponed for unknown reasons and Chelsea Green teaming up with Piper Niven instead of her usual partner Carmella.
Another change reportedly involved a planned appearance from NXT’s Grayson Waller, who is currently embroiled in a feud with Johnny Gargano.
Ahead of Raw, WRKD Wrestling provided a rundown that included Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn confronting The Usos as well as Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes closing out the show with involvement from Solo Sikoa.
The other part of the tweet mentioned that Waller would be there to build to his match with Gargano at Stand & Deliver.
“Owens/Zayn and The Usos will open Raw tonight to make their #WrestleMania match official.
“Grayson Waller will be in the building for a segment working toward his match with Johnny Gargano.
“Roman and Cody will close the show with a segment that has Solo shine. #WWERaw”

Earlier in the day, Waller seemed to back up his reported appearance, saying he had “big plans tonight”. After he wasn’t on the show, the star backtracked to claim his plans hadn’t involved Gargano after all and challenged Johnny Wrestling to go to NXT.
“Btw, my plans tonight involve getting sushi with this absolute smokeshow of a brunette, sitting in the jacuzzi after and not giving Johnny Comic Book any more of my clout.
“If he wants to see me, he can come to my show #IAMNXT”

Grayson Waller will face Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver
Since losing his NXT Championship match against Bron Breakker at Vengeance Day, Waller has been butting heads with Shawn Michaels, who he has accused of playing favorites.
Things came to a head at Roadblock on March 7th when Waller invited Michaels to join him on a special edition of the Grayson Waller Effect at Roadblock.
The segment quickly descended into an argument with HBK becoming increasingly annoyed at Waller seemingly thinking he’s bigger than the brand.
The WWE Hall of Famer said that as much as he would like to fight the young star, he knew someone who wanted to do it more. This brought out Gargano, who Waller previously laid out during his last night in NXT back in December 2021.
It was later confirmed that the two will meet in the ring at Stand & Deliver on April 1st.
