A top WWE NXT star has hit out at The Rock for supposedly stealing their main event spot!
This past Tuesday, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appeared during the main event of WWE NXT. The WWE legend gave his unfiltered thoughts on fans critiquing his interaction with Cody Rhodes the night before, telling them to simply enjoy the ride he’s taking them on.
Johnson’s NXT appearance was unexpectedly announced following his surprise return to WWE during the Netflix premiere of Raw. While fans were both taken aback and excited by the news, not everyone was pleased to hear about it.
Speaking on Friday’s edition of Busted Open , newly-crowned NXT Champion Oba Femi responded to the hosts jokingly asking him why he didn’t confront The Great One for taking the main event segment of the show from him.
Yes, of course it is, this is all mine. At the moment the time was being stolen from me, I wasn’t even aware it was being stolen from me. Maybe if I knew, I would have gone up to him and been like, ‘Hey, Uncle Dwayne, what are you doing?’
I’ll let it slide this time. But the next time Uncle Dwayne comes in and steals time from me, there’s going to be problems.
The Rock’s Long-Time WrestleMania 41 Plans Have Been Scrapped
Despite multiple teases that things weren’t over between himself and Cody Rhodes following last year’s WrestleMania, plans for The Rock to face The American Nightmare at WrestleMania 41 have reportedly been scrapped.
However, the long-awaited dream between Johnson and his real-life cousin Roman Reigns could still be on the table for Las Vegas, though it’s currently more likely to take place at another event at some point in the future.
