One WWE NXT star is set for another appearance at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport later this month.
NXT star Charlie Dempsey has been finding success as of late, especially after defeating Tony D’Angelo to recapture the Heritage Cup back in August. Despite his father William Regal aligning with Lexis King, Dempsey successfully defeated King on the October 29th episode of NXT to retain his Heritage Cup.
Now, Josh Barnett has announced that Dempsey is set to return to Bloodsport on November 24th to take on Akira. The announcement reads:
Two wrestlers returning to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport.
Both men coming back from a loss in Bloodsport XI.
Both hungry for the taste of victory.
Only one may have their hand raised on this sacred mat.

How Many Times Has WWE NXT Star Charlie Dempsey Competed At Bloodsport?
This will mark Dempsey’s third time working with Josh Barnett’s promotion. His first appearance came at Bloodsport X on April 4th in Philadelphia, where he successfully defeated Matt Makowski.
Dempsey didn’t fare as well at Bloodsport XI on July 28th. On that occasion, he suffered a loss to Royce Isaacs in New York City.
Shayna Baszler also competed at Bloodsport XI, defeating Miyu Yamashita by TKO. The Creed Brothers were both victorious at Bloodsport XI as well, with Julius Creed defeating Matt Makowski and Brutus Creed defeating ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor.
