  • William Regal Confirms Escobar vs Kross will take place next week and if Escobar does not show, he will be stripped of his Cruiserweight Championship.

Kyle O’Reilly Adresses Adam Cole’s Betrayal at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, Balor and Dunne collide.

  • Whilst commentary open the show Kyle silently marches out into the ring.
  • He criticises Cole’s actions before offering him the chance to explain why he kicked him in the face.
  • The UE Theme hits but it’s not Adam Cole but rather Roderick Strong.
  • Strong states that both he and Kyle know Adam and that it was clearly just a momentary lapse of emotion.
  • Whilst Strong and O’Reilly argue, Cole is nowhere to be seen however Balor makes his presence known.
  • The NXT Champion begins to criticise both Kyle and the UE for their actions, however, his promo is cut short at the hands of an ambush from Pete Dunne and Lorcan + Burch.
  • 6-Man Main event confirmed for tonight, Kings of NXT vs. Strong, O’Reilly and Balor.
  • Post Match William Regal Confirms Escobar vs Kross will take place next week and if Escobar does not show, he will be stripped of his Cruiserweight Championship.

Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart defeat Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae [w/ Johnny Gargano] via Roll-Up, Austin Theory is returned by Lumis

  • Focus of commentary and the pre-match segments is on Austin Theory’s Kidnapping as opposed to the four-performers in-ring.
  • Gargano is featured on commentary for the duration of the match, hands out ‘Missing’ Fliers for Theory.
  • Moon and Blackheart are able to dominate Hartwell inside the ropes however LeRae utilises underhanded tactics to regain control of the momentum.
  • A white van is shown pulling up outside the PC, the same white van featured in Lumis and Grimes many encounters.
  • Hartwell & LeRae debut matching gear, helps unify the duo as stablemates.
  • As the show cuts to an ad-break, Gargano is shown approaching the mysterious van.
  • Moon is knocked off the top rope following an Eclipse attempted, however, as LeRae looks to take advantage Gargano returns with Theory providing an accidental distraction.
  • Ember Moon rolls-up Indi Hartwell whilst The Way are distracted however the family continue to celebrate regardless.
  • Post-match Pat McAfee cuts a promo on a jet calling out the IWC for not admitting that he was right about Cole all along.

Result: Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart defeat Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae via pinfall.


Leon Ruff defeats Issiah ‘Swerve’ Scott via Crucifix Bomb, Swerve lashes out after the bell.

  • Ruff receives a ‘jobbers’ entrance, appearing in ring on return from a backstage segment in which Kushida is challenged to a match with a client of Bivens [Rust].
  • Swerve hits a huge Powerbomb onto his knee early on, Commentary [Barrett] justify Swerves new personality as frustration at lack of opportunities in NXT.
  • The former North American Champion eventually begins to build momentum hitting a Rebound Lariat followed up by a Springboard Cutter affording him a near-fall before Swerve gets a foot on the ropes.
  • Scott his a huge Spinning Lariat however before he can follow up Ruff hits the Crucifix Bomb out of nowhere to steal one over Swerve.
  • Although Scott initially appears to laugh off his loss, he tricks Ruff into a handshake and follows up with a vicious attack including a DVD into the Turnbuckle.

Result: Leon Ruff defeats Issiah Scott via pinfall.


Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeat The Robert Stone Brand [Aliyah & Jessi Kamea] via pinfall, Xia Li marks Catanzaro for Pain.

  • Kamea and Kacy open the exchanges with Kamea dwarfing Catanzaro and attempting to utilise her size to gain and early advantage.
  • The incredible tag team chemistry between Kayden and Kacy allows them to isolate Kamea however as they look to seal the deal Boa appears at ringside.
  • The Boa distraction allows Kamea and Aliyah to hit a innovative Wheelbarrow Face-Buster/Cutter combo.
  • Kacy and Kayden pick up a quick win with Kayden pinning Aliyah, however, before they can celebrate Xia storms down the ramp and grabs the arm of Catanzaro marking her hand with the same Black Marking that she had previously been marked by, before stating:

“Next week…I…will…PURGE YOU”

Result: Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeat The Robert Stone Brand via pinfall.


Beth Pheonix hosts the Dusty Classic Winners Presentation Ceremony, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler return to NXT.

  • We begin with a classic Dusty Rhodes quote before recapping both teams mammoth victories at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.
  • MSK come out first and they ask for a moment to get their excitement out, they bounce around the ring like a couple of hyper children and gush over the Trophy that they defeated the GYV for at Vengeance Day.
  • MSK confirm that they will face Lorcan & Burch for the NXT Tag Team Championship on the March 3rd edition of WWE NXT.
  • Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez come out to a barrage of ‘You deserve it chants’ and although the duo show joy for a brief moment at the crowds reaction they quickly bring it back to being heels.
  • As Kai runs down the competition, Shayna Baszlers music hits and she and tag partner Nia Jax march down to the NXT Ring.
  • Baszler states that when they face-off for the Tag Titles they will be on the wrong side of history.
  • Incredible Line as Nia states that Dusty once said she is the Biggest Baddest Bitch around to which Gonzalez responds “Dusty Rhodes, God Bless His Soul… He Never met ME”
  • Baszler and Jax vs. Dakota and Raquel for the WWE Tag Team Championships confirmed for the March 3rd edition of NXT.
  • Pheonix and MSK eat popcorn comedically in the background of the shot.

Kushida defeats Tyler Rust [w/ Malcom Bivens] via Ref Stoppage.

  • Kushida is praised heavily for his performance against Gargano however commentary emphasises his injuries.
  • The Time Splitter dominates early on however Rust is impressive and is able to push Kushida close to the edge on several occasions.
  • As Kushida locks in the Hoverboard Lock, Biven insists the referee calls off the match.
  • Bivens justifies his actions as protecting his investment.

Result: Kushida defeats Rust via Referees Stoppage.


Zoey Stark formerly Lacey Ryan debuts, defeats Valentina Feroz via pinfall

  • Stark has a full entrance with custom titantron and theme music, gets a pre-match hype package.
  • The former Ryan dominates her Feroz, incredibly impressive athletic performance.
  • Zoey Stark utilises a range of stiff striking offence complete with a unique inverted GTS which keeps Valentina Feroz down for the three count.

The Kings of NXT defeat Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong via Bitter End, Adam Cole leaves O’Reilly requiring medical attention.

  • Commentary emphases the extent of the injuries Dunne and Balor sustained at Vengeance Day.
  • O’Reilly and Strong come out together but Kyle storms forward ignoring his partner and heading straight to the ring.
  • Prior to this match we get two promo packages one from Kross calling Escobar a coward and stating that you cant cheat death.
  • The second is from LA Knight formerly Eli Drake, he states his signing is the first time the statement ‘NXT has signed the hottest free agent is true’ debuts a couple catch phrases and illustrates very heel persona.
  • The heel faction are able to dominate early on as only Strong looks to work with his team whilst O’Reilly and Balor refuse to tag anyone in.
  • NXT overruns as has been a permanent fixture of the weekly programming since O’Reilly vs. Balor for the NXT Championship main-evented.
  • Strong repeatedly attempts to prove his innocence to O’Reilly however Kyle is having none of it leading to many opportunities for the Kings of NXT to take advantage.
  • We get a huge referee bump during which time Cole comes out pushing Balor off the turnbuckle and nailing O’Reilly with huge Brainbuster onto the Steel Steps.
  • Strong attempts [at least seemingly] to hand Balor his NXT title however Balor does not see who is approaching him and lays Strong out with a Pele Kick.
  • Dunne sneaks up from behind and connects with the Bitter End to pin Finn Balor in the centre of the ring.
  • The show ends with Medics approaching Kyle and Cole posing with the title over a prone Balor.

Result: The Kings of NXT defeat Kyle O’Reilly, Finn Balor and Roderick Strong.
