Joe Hendry kicks off WWE NXT, geared up for his match against Wes Lee
NXT Champion Trick Williams makes his entrance to be present ringside for Joe Hendry’s match against Wes Lee.

NXT Champion Trick Williams makes his entrance to be present ringside for Joe Hendry’s match against Wes Lee.
Joe Hendry is focused on the match despite Trick Williams being present ringside. Hendry sets Lee in an arm twist which he counters. The Scottish star sets Lee up for a suplex but his opponent slips out of it followed by a superkick.
Wes Lee gains the upper hand and dropkicks Hendry out of the ring. The NXT Champion cheers him on as Joe Hendry takes advantage of the distraction and hits Lee with a clothesline.
A fired-up Joe Hendry manages to convert Wes Lee’s submission move into a slam. The former TNA Champion goes for a pin that’s foiled by Lee putting his leg on the bottom rope. Wes Lee’s allies attempt an interference but Mike Santana makes a save.
This enables Hendry to pin Wes Lee for the win much to Trick Williams’ fury.

Luca Crusifino calls out Tony D’ Angelo to address the allegations against him.
The Don of NXT highlights Crusifino being the one to hit him with the first blow and claims of screwing him over.
Luca Crusifino responds citing he has given up his career and done everything to get to WWE, and never ever doubted Tony D’ Angelo.
Lorenzo Stacks walks out with the Heritage Cup but before he responds, Crusifino tells him to stay out of his business. In a shocking turn of events, Crusifino attacks Tony D’ Angelo. Stacks puts his arm around him to showcase an alliance but Crusifino is not having it as he turns on the Heritage Cup Holder.
Myles Borne gets a revamped entrance with new music.
Borne and Lexis King charge at each other as soon as the bell rings. Myles Borne gains the upper hand with a dropkick. His opponent, Lexis King dodges a powerslam and sets Borne up on the top rope for a suplex and attempts a pin.
King taunts his opponent as he hits his chest before setting him up for a superplex.
Lexis King continues to mock Borne, who counters his armlock followed by a dropkick. The NXT star regains momentum but fails with another mock dropkick on Borne. Lexis King’s antics fail when his opponent manages to hit him with a back suplex.
Lexis King gears up for a powerbomb, but the latter rolls over, hits him with a dropkick and follows it up with a pin.
Result: Myles Borne def. Lexis King
Darkstate cut a promo backstage as the tension continues to brew among them.
Meanwhile, Thea Hail is out here to prove a point in her match against Lainey Reid. An infuriated Hails pounces on Reid for mocking her. She continues to hit her with punches before a standing moonsault. Reid leaps up to her feet and hits Hail with a German suplex.
Reid rolls up Thea Hail for a pin but puts her leg up on the ropes which is spotted by the referee. Hail tries to take advantage and go for an unsuspecting pin but Lainey Reid turns it on her and takes help of the ropes while continuing to hold her down for a pin.
Result: Lainey Reid def. Thea Hail
All four women are in the ring as Zaria and Sol Ruca knock them out. Sol Ruca and Tatum Paxley officially kick off the tag team match. Ruca has her opponent in a submission move she slides out of. Izzi Dame tags in and powerslams Ruca on the mat.
Tatum Paxley tags in again and kicks Ruca into the corner. The NXT star shoves Paxley before setting her up in an arm lock. Zaria tags in and begins to annihilate her opponent.
Paxley struggles to the corner and tags in Dame as the two women engage in a heated exchange.
The Women’s NXT North American Champion and Zaria work together to knock out their opponents but in all the chaos, Zaria accidentally takes out her tag team partner. This enables Tatum Paxley to roll her out of the ring as Izzi Dame slams Ruca on the mat and pins her to get the win.
Result: Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley def. Sol Ruca & Zaria
After the match, The Culling celebrate Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame’s win. This continues backstage indicating at a new potential alliance.
Backstage, Ricky Starks and Ethan Page are in the middle of a heated confrontation with NXT General Manager Ava in attendance.
She claims the two stars must be civil in their rivalry to avoid any severe consequences. Ricky Starks claims if he’s competing in the Vanity Project Gauntlet match he should be the one to decide the stipulation of his match with Ethan Page.
Ava agrees and announces Ricky Starks’ gauntlet match for next week on NXT.
Backstage, Joe Hendry proceeds to showcase gratitude to Mike Santana.
Hendry is focused on bringing back the TNA Championship to the promotion. Mike Santana responds that he will be the one to take the title back where it belongs. Hendry does not back down, citing that the job is for one man alone, and that is himself.
An overpowering Jasper Troy flings Yoshiki Inamura around in the ring. Inamura drops Troy to his feet as Oba Femi is seen watching the match backstage.
Inamura mocks Jasper Troy and hits him with a shoulder tackle but ends up being slammed on the mat. The NXT powerhouse attempts a clothesline but Yoshiki Inamura dodges sending Troy over the top rope out of the ring,
In a shocking turn of events, Yoshiki Inamura powerslams Jasper Troy two times in a row. He climbs up the top rope and ends the bout with a splash, pinning Jasper Troy to become the no.1 contender for the NXT Championship.

Oba Femi walks out to confront his challenger, meanwhile in the ring Je’Von Evans appears out of nowhere and lays out Jasper Troy.
Jordynne Grace discusses the importance of an event like Evolution for the women’s division across wrestling. She proceeds to highlight the one thing she is terrified of going into the title match – her vulnerability.
She is interrupted by Fatal Influence. The NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne claims Jordynne Grace will never carry the division the way she is. Jayne addresses claims of being called the beatable champion in NXT, but her perseverance will keep her winning, especially at Evolution.
The NXT Women’s Champion namedrops Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace as being outsiders trying to make it big in WWE.
Grace tells her to shut up, but before she can go any further, Jayne throws a punch, and a brawl breaks out. Blake Monroe rushes out with a save as Fatal Influence makes their exit from the ring.
NXT General Manager Ava walks out with a solution to the chaos – she announces Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe in a tag team match at The Great American Bash. This will mark Monroe’s first official match in WWE.
