WWE legend Natalya is finally set for a women’s title match, eight years after last holding a championship.
Natalya has been a pioneer in women’s wrestling over the years. Hailing from the iconic Hart family, the BOAT has constantly marked milestones for the women in the sport. He has now reached legendary status herself and has taken to mentoring younger talent while also being an on-screen presence. The star was also recently present on Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, where she teased a new gimmick. The star last won a women’s title in WWE eight years ago, in 2018, when she won the SmackDown Women’s Title from Naomi at SummerSlam.
Natalya will now be competing for a title for the first time in her career.
Natalya will be in action on WWE Evolve
Next week on WWE Evolve, Natalya will face the inaugural WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kali Armstrong for the title. The star will be in action after they both signed the contract on this week’s edition of the show. Previously, the BOAT had expressed an interest in vying for the title, and it seems that now her wishes have come to fruition.
Whether the star will be able to make history remains to be seen. Natalya is already the first woman to have held the Divas Title and the SmackDown Women’s Title. The star could now become the first woman to hold a main roster and Evolve title.
