The New Day have been named WWE’s Greatest Tag Team.
WWE have been counting down their 50 greatest tag teams on Peacock and the WWE Network, revealing the top five, on the latest episode of the show.
New Day topped the list featuring a number of legendary teams such as The Hardy Boyz, the Legion of Doom and The British Bulldogs.
The New Day have been ever-presents on WWE television since Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E came together in late 2014. The trio have since gone on to become one of the most successful teams of all time, with numerous Tag Team Titles reigns under their multi-coloured belt.
The stable have have also enjoyed success as singles stars with Kingston winning the WWE Title in 2019.
As a result of the draft in October 2020 the threesome became a twosome for the first time, with Woods and Kingston on Raw and Big E on SmackDown.
However, the team could be set to reunite after the upcoming WWE Draft.
The top five was rounded out by The Hardy Boyz, Hart Foundation, Edge & Christian and The Dudley Boyz.
