Update on WWE Morale Following Triple H’s Takeover

A new report has shed light on the backstage morale in WWE following the ascension of Triple H to the boss’ chair following Vince McMahon’s retirement.

On the 22nd of July, the wrestling world changed forever when Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE. The announcement came amid investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct and hush money payments being levelled at the WWE Chairman but after 40 years in charge still caught the wrestling business by surprise.

Since then, Triple H has taken over as the Head of Creative and the Head of Talent Relations in WWE with Stephanie McMahon being named as co-CEO with company President, Nick Khan.

Fightful Select first reported that morale was immediately lifted on Triple H taking over with the mood said to be noticeably better at the first Raw show under the new regime.

Several WWE Superstars are said to be optimistic with Triple H running creative while an NXT star commented on how Dakota Kai’s return to the company at SummerSlam was a great sign.

It is said that the positive outlook from so many people is in contrast to how things were in the company just a few weeks before and especially in the post-Royal Rumble spell earlier this year. Chaos reigned at the Rumble with plans changing and as a result Shane McMahon ended up being sent home by his father despite being potentially primed for a big WrestleMania match.
