Roman Reigns

The Bloodline Civil War

We see a recap of the storyline of The Bloodline. Jimmy & Jey Uso enter first, followed by Solo Sikoa & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns w/ Paul Heyman by their side. Let’s do this!

The ref emphasizes that it should be one-on-one to start this match, so Solo and Jimmy get things going. Solo overpowers Jimmy instantly and shoves him into the corner of the ring. Jey gives him some strategy in his ear, but Solo still dominates with a body slam. Jimmy gathers himself in the corner and exchanges some more whispers with his brother.

Jimmy ducks a strikes and delivers some chops. Solo comes right back with his own chops and a boot to Jimmy. Jey comes from behind on the apron and hits an enziguri to get an advantage on Solo. Jey tags in shortly after, and then Reigns follows up by also tagging in. Jey and Roman take the padding off, showing that they’re not going to hold any punches in this one. They lock up and Reigns powers Jey into a headlock.

Roman comes off of the ropes with a shoulder tackle. He talks some trash to Jimmy, but it gives Jey a moment to gether himself and hit some kicks on The Tribal Chief. Roman comes back with his powerful punches. He uses a chinlock inside the ropes and then headbutts Jey down. The Usos manage to trade tags, but Roman escapes from the ring just as The Usos were going for a double superkick.

On the outside, Paul Heyman tells Roman that Jey wants his sons to answer to The Usos. This enrages Roman, who climbs back into the ring and intensely tackles Jey into the corner. Reigns argues with the ref for a moment and then returns with rights to Jey. Jey hits some rights of his own as the crowd counts along, as well as a right to Sikoa. Reigns comes back almost instantly with a right hand of his own.

Reigns keeps the referee’s attention as Solo Sikoa gets some cheap chokes on Jey in their corner. Solo tags in and headbutts a downed Jey over and over. Solo with a trapezius vice grip, but Jey struggles back to his feet and is able to tag in his partner. The Usos with a double kick to Solo, but then the two men collide with a forearm that nearly knocks Jimmy out cold. The crowd ensues in a, “If you hate Roman, stand up!” chant. Solo watches along and then goes on a brutal attack of Jimmy. “If you hate Roman, sit down!” follows. Sikoa hits his signature hip attack in the corner on Solo.

Sikoa pulls Jimmy into his corner and tags Roman back in. They set Jimmy up for the drive-by dropkick on the apron, but that only gives Roman a close two count. Reigns with several clotheslines to Jimmy in the corner, followed by a big boot for yet another close two count. Solo gets tagged in and goes right back to the trapezius hold on Jimmy. Roman with a blind tag, and as soon as Jimmy nearly tags Jey, Reigns stops him. Jimmy reverses a back suplex but just as he gets to Jey, Sikoa pulls him off of the apron.

Roman taunts as the crowd boos along. Reigns goes and retrieves Jimmy from outside of the ring and prepares for the Superman Punch. Jimmy ducks underneath the punch and then tackles Roman out of the ring, causing them both to spill over the ropes. Jimmy continues his struggle, but he FINALLY makes it back to the corner! Solo also tags in, but Jey meets him there with some strikes a la The Rock. Jey with kicks and a step-up enziguri! Uso spills to the apron and hits a kick, followed by a crossbody on Solo for another close two.

Jey hits his own signature hip attack in the corner on Solo, but his second one is thwarted. Reigns with a blind tag, but Jey is ready and he clotheslines Roman out of the ring and hits a suicide dive on Reigns and Solo. He tries for another on Reigns, but that’s when Roman nails a Superman Punch through the ropes. Roman with another Superman Punch in the ring. Jimmy Uso makes a sudden tag and The Usos use a DOUBLE SPEAR on The Tribal Chief. Sikoa breaks the count up at the very last second!

Everyone is down, but they slowly climb to their feet and then have a final standown. They trade punches back and forth. Solo and Jey spill to the outside, while in the ring, Jimmy and Roman trade punches. Roman avoids a kick and uses a Superman Punch for a 2 and 7/8 count. Reigns goes for the spear but is met with two superkicks from Jimmy. He climbs to the top rope for the Uso Splash, but his landing is intercepted by a Guillotine hold from Roman. Jimmy is barely hanging on, but he’s still in this right now! He powers Reigns up and drives him into the corner. Jey gets a blind tag, but Roman turns his attention back to Jimmy. The ref gets knocked out of the ring just as The Usos hit the 1D!

They would have the three count, but the ref is out of commission right now. They are ready for the double Uso splash, but Solo pushes Jimmy down. Sikoa and Roman with double Uranages on The Usos. Sikoa with a Samoan Spike on Jimmy, and then Sikoa and Roman use a spike/spear combo for what seemed like the final moments of the match, but NO! Jimmy & Jey kicked out together at the very last moment!

Reigns and Sikoa are in disbelief after their best shot together wasn’t enough. Solo tells Roman to get up and go back on the attack while they start hitting punches on The Usos. Sikoa tosses Jimmy’s lifeless body into the steel steps before he prepares the announce table for destruction. He sets Jimmy up and then climbs to the barricade. Sikoa looks to Roman and then goes for the leap, but Jimmy ducks out at the very last second and the Street Champion crashes through.

Reigns with a Superman Punch, but Jey comes back with a Superkick. Roman with a Spear! Jey still kicked out!!! The Usos with tandem superkicks over and over, as well as one for Solo on the apron. Jey is tagged in and gives an Uso splash for the win! THE USOS WIN!!!!

We see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn watching from a special box in the arena. They say it’s been great to be here in London, and after defending their titles last night, it’s cool to see the new MITB winners and Champions. They’re asked about The Bloodline Civil War that is about to begin, with Zayn saying that it’s something he’s wanted to see for a very long time. He says that he thinks tonight will be the night when he gets exactly what is coming to him.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

Finn Balor enters first with one of his unique masks, followed by Seth Rollins. The announcer does a proper introduction for the Title Match and then the bell rings! Rollins has his ribbed taped up, but he looks pleased with how the crowd is singing along with him tonight. Rollins goes on the attack, but Finn gets him with a kick to the abdomen and then several shots to the midsection. Rollins catches Finn outside the ring with a suicide dive, but it irritates his hurt ribs. Rollins hits Balor with a clothesline and then tosses Balor back into the ring.

Rollins dodges an attack from Finn on the apron and then nails an impressive leg drop. He goes through an impressive combo and then tries for a pedigree, but Finn pulls his legs out from under him and hits a standing double stomp to the chest. Finn stays on him, pulling in a chin lock. Seth makes it up and tries to fight back, but he’s tossed rib-first into the turnbuckles. Finn ties him up in the ropes and uses clubby blows on the ribs, followed by a running kick that forces Seth back outside of the ring.

Finn punts Seth a couple of times and then stomps away. He throws Seth back inside the ring and then delivers several shoulders to the abdomen while Seth is stuck in the corner. Finn runs from the opposite side of the ring but is met with a boot and a clothesline. Rollins with several forearms and some kicks to the face, followed by a backbreaker and a running knee to the face. Rollins goes for a stomp but Balor reverses and gets the advantage, raining down strikes on Seth while he’s down. Balor hits a perfectly executed sling blade!

Balor runs in for a shotgun dropkick, but Seth reverses it into a superkick and a buckle bomb. He wants a frog splash, but Finn puts his knees up and then dropkicks Seth into the corner. He prepares for a coupe de grace, but Seth scales the ropes like a cat and tries to stop him. Finn pushes him down to the mat. Seth still evades the coupe de grace. Several reversals follow, including an enziguri from Seth. He stops a pele kick from Finn and delivers the Pedigree for a VERY close two count.

Here comes Mr. Money in the Bank, Damian Priest! He stares down Seth Rollins from the entrance ramps, causing a distraction for a rollup from Balor. Rollins kicks out and throws Finn out of the ring, turning his attention to Mr. MITB after. Priest takes a seat at ringside, which gives another distraction to Balor. He hits a shotgun dropkick to Seth that sends him into the apron and then two coupe de graces — one from the announce table and one from the ring steps. Balor rolls Seth in the ring and hits the shotgun dropkick again! He prepares for a final Coupe de Grace, but Priest stands up for a moment and hesitates cashing in, causing a distraction to Finn and forcing him to miss the Coupe de Grace. Seth hits the stomp!! Rollins retains!

Everyone starts trying to get to the briefcase. Bayley slams Becky’s head off of a ladder and then hits her signature leg drop off the middle of the ladder. Sky gets near the top of the ladder, but Stark and Vega pull her out of the target zone. Sky with a moonsault at nearly the top of the ladder to take everyone out!

Damage CTRL both come back in and go after Trish/Lynch, but they won’t be thwarted. Trish and Lynch go back to their battle, with Stark showing up to help out her mentor. She pulls out a set of handcuffs and then encourages Trish to join her as she looks to take care of Lynch. Lynch kicks and punches the two away and then tosses Stark and Stratus into the ring barricade.

Lynch clears off the announce table, but Stark and Stratus show back up with a large ladder. Lynch sends Trish over the announce table and then uses a flapjack on Stark. Lynch gets on the announce table with Trish Stratus and delivers a manhandle slam onto a ladder bridge. Stark comes out of nowhere and uses a blockbuster on Lynch. Meanwhile, Vega nearly makes it to the briefcase, but Stark meets her up there. Sunset Flip from Vega onto a ladder bridge! Holy s*it!

Iyo Sky enters the ring and moves the wreckage out of the way. She gets to the top of the ladder and is about to win it when, suddenly, BAYLEY TURNS ON HERE and shoves the ladder over, causing Sky to hit the top rope face-first. Lynch rushes in the ring and actually uses the handcuff to fish hook Bayley in the mouth. Bayley is down and out, and then Sky runs in and tries to take advantage, but she’s hit with the handcuff, too. Bayley and Lynch start climbing, but Sky actually handcuffs them together in the center of the ladder, forcing them to be trapped as she climbs over their bodies and gets the briefcase. Sky wins!!!

That’s why Waller doesn’t get why he’s “lying.” Waller says that WrestleMania in England is a joke, and if it is going to go overseas, it needs to go somewhere nicer like Australia. He says that he could maybe even get John a spot on the show, mentioning all of the recent losses that Cena has had over the years. The crowd starts chanting, “F*ck ’em up, Cena, f*ck ’em up!” Waller says he just needs one good viral moment, so it’s time for him to let Waller be Superman. After the show ended, WWE.com caught up with Zayn and Owens backstage, asking them if they’re interested in the tag team match between The Usos and Roman Reigns/Solo Sikoa tonight.

We get to see what’s likely the final chapter, once and for all, of The Bloodline Civil War, and there’s no question I’ll be watching it. And whether [Kevin Owens] wants to admit to it or not, he’ll come. He’ll watch it, too.”

In the realm of news, a new report regarding Drew McIntyre has stated that he’s been seen in London where other WWE talent is located, but that could be due to the fact that he’s staying with family. Any involvement of McIntyre in the show will be a last-minute, “creative choice” if it does go down this evening.
