WWE Money In The Bank 2023 Sells Out In Less Than A Minute

WWE Money In The Bank

WWE Money In The Bank is coming to the United Kingdom in 2023.

It has been announced that the show will come live from the o2 Arena in London on July 1st. This will be the first time that the event has been held outside of the United States since it was created back in 2010.

The go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown will also be coming live from the same venue the night before. The show will also be broadcast live on BT Sport at 8 pm UK time for the first time ever. June 30th will mark the first time that Friday Night SmackDown has been held in the UK since November 8th, 2019. The show was first taped in the United Kingdom in October 2004.

After a pre-sale, tickets for the Money In The Bank 2023 went on sale at 12 pm GMT on February 24th and incredibly sold out in less than a minute. This was first mentioned by Drew McIntyre on social media and later confirmed on SmackDown by Michael Cole.

Money In The Bank has become a staple of WWE’s Premium Live Event calendar since becoming a standalone show in 2010. The match that gave the show its name debuted at WrestleMania 21 and was won by Edge. The 2022 edition of the event was held in Las Vegas, with Austin Theory winning the men’s Ladder Match while Liv Morgan was triumphant in the women’s match. Morgan famously cashed in her contract that very night to win the SmackDown Women’s Title from Ronda Rousey.
