WWE made a huge Trish Stratus announcement.
Trish Stratus returned on the latest episode of SmackDown. She was suddenly introduced to the ring by Tiffany Stratton as the Hall of Famer aimed for another title win. Stratton and Stratus were a tag team at Elimination Chamber earlier this year when they defeated Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Since then, the star has been absent, giving rise to speculation on whether she would be there for a program at Evolution.
Now, a huge announcement regarding her future has been made by the company.
Trish Stratus will face Tiffany Stratton at WWE Evolution
Right after her return, Stratus was revealed to be Tiffany Stratton’s new challenger. Stratton herself wanted to give the Hall of Famer a shot at the women’s title, owing to their great relationship during the Elimination Chamber and over the last few months.
WWE has now made the match official by announcing it on their X/Twitter handle.

Tiffany Stratton is also set to face Jade Cargill at SummerSlam after the latter was crowned the Queen of the Ring.
