WWE Makes Major Change For Becky Lynch, AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio To Continue

The WWE RAW brand is returning to Canada for a live episode in just a few hours. With mishaps and other late changes, officials have just announced a big update to tonight’s card, and there’s a curious Becky Lynch update with showtime approaching.

Adam Pearce and his crew are set to present more red brand build on the road to Clash In Paris tonight as RAW airs live from Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada. The RAW General Manager announced earlier that Naomi will not be able to defend the World Women’s Championship against IYO SKY due to an injury that was not detailed. There’s still no word yet on what the future holds for Naomi and the title, but it appears another title match will take its place on the card.

Becky Lynch was previously announced to face Maxxine Dupri on tonight’s RAW, without her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. The Man has been rumored to defend against Nikki Bella at WWE Clash In Paris at the end of this month, but the match is up in the air as Bella awaits an MRI amid complications from a recent breast implant injury, and admitted fatigue from traveling on the road with WWE.

Big Time Becks will now defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against one-half of The Dungeon Dolls on tonight’s RAW. While the earlier tweet does not mention the change, the updated official RAW preview now lists Lynch vs. Dupri as a title match.

Tonight, Lynch will take on Dupri for the first time ever with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. Don’t miss all the action at 8 ET/5 PT on Raw on Netflix,” reads the official WWE website preview.

Updated WWE RAW Lineup For Tonight

A new tag team match has been announced for tonight, in what will be a preview for Saturday’s AAA Triplemanía XXXIII main event with El Hijo del Vikingo defending his Mega Championship against Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano.

RAW will see Styles and Lee team up against Dirty Dom and the current WWE Speed Champion. The official WWE website preview touted the upcoming AAA match.

“AJ Styles will team with Dragon Lee for the first time as they collide with Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano. ‘Dirty’ Dom took down Lee last week with help from three different El Grande Americanos. After the match, The Phenomenal One evened the playing field in his attempt to attack Mysterio. This Monday, the teams will lock horns as Styles looks to gain another match against the Intercontinental Champion. Three of the four Superstars will also compete in the same bout at AAA Triplemanía XXXIII, as AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo, Lee, Mysterio and Americano clash for the title in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
