However, come night two of WrestleMania, the match was well-received in SoFi Stadium, as The Beast was cheered to victory.
24 hours later, Lesnar was back on Raw and seemingly ready to team up with Cody Rhodes to take on The Bloodline. Although the WWE legend had other ideas. Lesnar turned on Rhodes and completely destroyed him in the main event. He delivered multiple F-5s, sent the American Nightmare crashing through the announce table, and wore him out with a steel chair.
On SmackDown, WWE attempted to explain Lesnar’s actions but only raised more eyebrows among fans. During the show, commentator Wade Barrett claimed that he only attacked Rhodes because he was frustrated at opening night two of WrestleMania and not being in the main event.
