Another NXT star may be in line for a main roster call-up after impressing many in WWE.
Several talents from NXT have impressed several fans these past few years, especially those in the women’s division. As examples are Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez, who are all former champions on the developmental brand but have since debuted on the main roster. Interestingly, a new name might follow in their footsteps soon.
In a recent report from WrestleVotes Radio on WrestleBinge, JoeyVotes and TC shared that Sol Ruca is being pushed heavily by those backstage in WWE to make her main roster debut.
The idea has reportedly been supported by many, and those who want her to be on the main roster want it to take place soon. Although those in NXT want the Women’s North American Champion to remain in the brand longer, a call-up is seemingly imminent.
Although still officially in WWE’s developmental brand, Sol Ruca has competed in at least two main shows this year. The first being a four-way against Alexa Bliss, Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez, and Sol Ruca. She was also in action during the 2025 Evolution, wherein Roxanne and Raquel Rodriguez retained the Women’s Tag Team titles.
Sol Ruca Opens Up On A Possible WWE Main Roster Call Up
The Women’s North American Champion has captured the attention of many wrestling fans lately due to her vibrant character and interesting movesets, especially her impressive Sol Snatcher finish. While many in the company may be confident to see her on the main roster, the star herself is still having some doubts.
While talking to the Masked Man Show in July, the WWE star shared that she still has a lot to learn, and she feels content in NXT. Sol added that she believes the timing is right and will be called up in the right season.
I definitely think I have a lot left to learn and I am completely content being here in NXT. I think that I believe in their timing. I believe that when the time is right, I will be called up. But, I think that I do have a little bit more work to do down here in NXT and that’s completely fine.” [H/T Fightful]
