YouTube sensation and social media influencer Logan Paul is no stranger to controversy, and he recently found himself the subject of ire on the Internet once again after it was revealed that his former pet pig had been mistreated after being rehomed.
The controversy was brought to light when animal rescue The Gentle Barn posted on social media about finding a pig in distressing condition at a California farm. The animal in question turned out to be Pearl, a pig that had previously belonged to Logan Paul. The post made note of many pig owners buying these animals when they’re small and giving them up once they grow larger.
Speaking in an interview with TMZ, Logan Paul, who signed with WWE back in June, explained that he had a great life with Pearl for over two years, but was unable to take her with him when he moved to Puerto Rico in 2020. He rehomed Pearl with a horse ranch, where she enjoyed a wonderful life for ten months before that homeowner moved and was unable to bring Pearl to the new location.
Logan Paul says he was unaware that the horse ranch had given Pearl to the farm across the street when the homeowner moved, and he insists that he loved the pig dearly, feeding her gourmet food and even snuggling with her at night while she was living with him. He says he wants to do whatever he can to assist in her rehabilitation and even reached out to Gentle Barn to try to help.
Logan Paul Sent A Letter Of Gratitude To Gentle Barn Animal Rescue
After learning of Pearl’s condition, Logan Paul wrote the following email to the rescue where she now resides:
Dear Gentle Barn,
It was just brought to my attention that a pig I owned nearly two years ago, Pearl, was rescued and rehomed by your organization. With every ounce of gratitude I have, thank you.
Pearl lived very happily at my home in Encino for about two years. She was treated like the princess she is, bathed regularly, ate a variety of healthy meals, roamed the yard, and had a shelter and pen of her own. I’d even sleep with her sometimes (you’ll come to find she’s a very friendly pig and loves to cuddle).
When I moved to Puerto Rico in April of 2020, she was unable to come with me, so she was rehomed at a horse ranch in Santa Clarita. From my understanding, she lived fruitfully there for about 10 months until that homeowner moved, as well. Pearl was then rehomed to the farmer across the street with the promise of care. I’ve heard that he called your organization to pick her up.
It’s shocking and heartbreaking to hear the state she was found. I wanted to reach out personally and say thank you for taking her in.
For what it’s worth, I’d love to send a token of my gratitude to your organization for taking Pearl in and doing something so kind. I thought she was at a good home, but regardless, she is now and I’d like to contribute to her care again. I can’t thank you enough for stepping in. Please let me know how else I can be supportive.
Best,

Logan Paul last competed at WWE Crown Jewel, where he suffered his first defeat in WWE in a title match against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Paul suffered an injury during that bout, but believes he’ll be ready to compete again in time for WrestleMania 39, where he’s requested to wrestle John Cena.
According to a recent report from PWInsider, Logan Paul is being heavily discussed for a return at the upcoming Royal Rumble as long as his knee is healed enough for him to perform.
