A WWE veteran has one of the secrets behind Roman Reigns’ multiple WrestleMania main events.
Since his main roster debut in 2012, Roman Reigns has developed himself into one of the most popular and top-drawing stars in the promotion. Boasting nine WrestleMania main events in his career, Reigns has faced the likes of Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and many more at the Grandest Stage of them all.
Speaking on Something to Wrestle, Hall of Famer JBL opened up on the ongoing Bloodline family saga and claimed that the popularity surrounding the story and the ‘OTC’ has helped Reigns achieve his list of WrestleMania headlines.
The crowd go banana, the crowd go banana. Yeah, I think it does. I was looking at some of WWE’s stuff. It’s so well done right now. It’s really incredible what they’re doing, the stories. It’s a separate issue, but when you talk about action versus drama and motion versus emotion, look at the difference. Not that you choose an either or, but what draws more money, some kind of crazy, five-star match as they would call it, or Roman Reigns calling The Wiseman and the phone being disconnected?
All the sudden, you create all this interest. The interest they’ve created with this, this is insane that you have a storyline this long. This thing has been year after year after year, and it’s just as hot now as it was back then. It’s one of the reasons Roman [Reigns] has headlined more WrestleManias than anybody in history. He’s just that talented. But also, you have great creative around him.”

Reigns was always not this popular and fans might remember his horrendous run as The Big Dog from a few years ago. However, a heel turn and a character change completely turned around Reigns’ career, and transitioned him into the entity he is today.
Currently in a feud against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, Reigns’ OG Bloodline is now set to face Sikoa’s squad in the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames match. However, ahead of the five-vs-five match, the OG Bloodline found a new member.
Paul Heyman Reunites With Former Client Ahead Of Roman Reigns’ WarGames Match
On the November 22nd episode of SmackDown, fans saw The Wiseman Paul Heyman return, and reunite with his former client. While Reigns’ Bloodline lacked a fifth member, Paul Heyman called in CM Punk to fill in the gap.
The two Bloodlines will face each other in the WarGames match on November 30, 2024, with the potential to settle their differences.
