WWE Legend Ric Flair Has Done It Again

Ric Flair Addresses Upcoming AEW Return

Ric Flair overcame yet another major personal challenge.

Ric Flair has openly shared about his health struggles these past few years, with the most recent regarding his skin cancer diagnosis. In June this year, The Nature Boy opened up that he had skin cancer for the second time in three years and would undergo surgery soon.

Now, better news was shared regarding the Hall of Famer’s health condition after The Nature Boy revealed on his social media that he had undergone surgery and is now officially cancer-free, making it the second time he has overcome this challenge.

Thank You Academic Alliance In Dermatology! I’m Now Cancer Free! WOOOOO!

The 76-year-old initially retired in 2008 before briefly returning; his last match took place in 2022, where he revealed he passed out twice and suffered a heart attack during the bout.

Ric Flair Prefers Another WWE Superstar To Break His World Championship Record

At WrestleMania 41, John Cena defeated Charlotte Flair to become a record-breaking 17-time World Champion, surpassing Ric Flair’s record of 16. Although The Nature Boy is supportive of The Last Real Champion dethroning him from that spot, he would also not mind seeing another star get that record.

In a past interview on Busted Open Radio before WrestleMania 41, The Nature Boy shared that although he would be happy to see John become a 17-time World Champion, but would rather see his daughter, Charlotte Flair, surpass his record.

“I would be extremely happy for John, and I wish I could be there live to get in the ring and shake his hand. I obviously wanted Charlotte to break the record but if John breaks it, man, more power to him. I can’t say enough good about John Cena. He is a phenomenal guy. He has put his life, his soul, everything there is possible, just like I did, into the business for the last 20 years.”
