One of the greatest of all time, Ric Flair has named a modern-day wrestling routine he cannot stand.
The 16-time World Champion Ric Flair is often considered one of the greatest of all time. With several title wins and appearances over multiple global promotions, Flair was particularly known for his workhorse style and pretty long matches.
Speaking on the Five Star Podcast, The Nature Boy opened up about a big misconception in modern-day wrestling. Declaring himself to be strictly against wrestlers practicing matches, he wants them to be completely on the spot. Citing his example, Flair commented,
Never practice. I’ve had no practice. That’s the only thing in the business that I can’t stand right now. ‘Do this, do that.’ You can never guarantee how the crowd is going to react. You can have a match all set up to go this way and the crowd is going, ‘I don’t think so. I don’t like you today, I like him.”

At 75 years old, Flair is still open for one more wrestling match.
Ric Flair Still Open For His Final Wrestling Match
A few years ago, in 2022, The Nature Boy competed for his 5,023rd time at a PPV based around his final match. However, the match did not yield positive results, leaving Flair desiring a perfect conclusion for his career.
Recently, during his appearance on the Five Star Podcast, Ric Flair opened up on his desire for a last match, and how Tony Khan rejected the proposal.
Hell yeah, I do. Once Tony (Khan) found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me get in the ring.”
In other news: Stone Cold Steve Austin’s return on the WWE Raw Netflix debut episode has been scrapped.
In a further update, Ric Flair clarified the rumours concerning an in-ring comeback.
