A WWE legend has lost a top title just 19 days after pulling off an emotional win.
Winning a title is always an emotional affair, and such was the case for one WWE legend recently. At All In Texas, Dustin Rhodes came out on top in a gruesome Fatal Four Way match to become the AEW TNT Champion.
Unfortunately, Rhodes’ ride at the top came to an end tonight on Collision as he dropped the title to Kyle Fletcher. It was an intense battle that ended with both men beaten, battered, and bruised. However, Rhodes was the one who got the worst of it.
Even after picking up the win and the title, The Protostar did not relent. He continued to beat down the WWE legend, and was even joined in this endeavor by the leader of the Don Callis Family, Don Callis himself.

It was a huge upset that many weren’t expecting. Winning the title at All In was a crowning achievement for Dustin Rhodes. Hopefully, he can bounce back from this loss and come back stronger.
Dustin Rhodes has no plan to return to WWE
Speaking of Dustin Rhodes, despite his current association with AEW, he is without a doubt a WWE legend. After all, he spent close to 18 years with the company, and the Rhodes family has built quite a legacy there.
However, when asked previously on several occasions if he would return to the Stamford-based promotion, the 56-year-old made it clear that he has no such plans. He plans on ending his career with AEW, and has even signed a new multi-year deal with the company.
