WWE Legend ‘Impressed’ By Multiple Budding NXT Talents

Huge Winner-Takes-All Match Announced For WWE NXT Roadblock

WWE legend impressed with several NXT talents.

A few weeks ago, on the 25th February episode of NXT, TNA World Tag-Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy made their way to NXT, and fought a match against No Quarter Catch Crew. A few days later, on the 11th March episode of Roadblock, The Hardy Boyz defeated Fraxiom.

Wrestling for nearly three decades and having faced multiple talents throughout their career, Matt Hardy was left impressed with the talented NXT roster. Despite their current legendary status in WWE, The Hardy Boyzs’ journey began humbly, demonstrating significant growth.

Recently, speaking on his Xtreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy shared the names that stood out to him during his time in NXT. In addition to Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Je’Von Evans, Hardy also mentioned several other impressive wrestlers.

“Both of the girls were really impressive, Stephanie and Giulia. It’s funny, even they asked if they could take a picture with us and Stephanie said I’d met her when I was doing something in Mexico, maybe when I was doing something for AAA through TNA years ago.

There were a lot of people where we just got to sit down and really watch them for the first time ever. Even Je’Von, it was great watching him and seeing how talented he was because I’d heard about him and I’d heard how good he was. One of those things where you’re moving around like Jeff and I are moving currently and recently and then on top of that, if you have kids at home and you have a wife at home and responsibilities and real life shit you know, it’s like, you don’t get to watch all the wrestling that you would like to.”

He further continued:

“I’d would love to be able to consume as much as possible, but still, there were a lot of people that really stood out. Oba is another person. I’d never seen a ton of his work, but I think he has the potential to be a huge star. He could go all the way in the business, right? I love Myles (Borne) and Tavion (Heights) too, they were both great.

Big fan of Fraxiom, even working with those guys, they are really incredible and it’s so cool. I think they are happy they got that opportunity to do this weird move of these two guys don’t fit together but we’re going to team them and then they really make it into something great, I’m so happy for those guys.”

Following his match at Roadblock, Hardy was recently involved in a Steel Cage match at TNA Sacrifice 2025.

Matt Hardy Opens Up On Future WWE Appearances

Recently speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy shared details about his future in WWE.

“Yes. I do think we would want to run it back. As of right now, our little run with NXT is wrapped. We do have some stuff on our schedule to do with WWE a little later on down the road. Nothing specifically with NXT yet, but. Just stuff, I’m going to leave it at that right now. We have stuff lined up with WWE.”
