WWE Legend Wishes He Could Have Had The Chance To Face Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo.

Bray Wyatt is one of the most unique performers in the wrestling world today. While the former World Champion was always creatively unconventional during his first run with WWE, since his return that has gone to a new level.

Despite returning back at Extreme Rules fans have been kept guessing about what the future might hold for the star. While he has been confronted by a mysterious figure known only as Uncle Howdy and has clashed with LA Knight, there is no clear indication of what’s to come.

Mick Foley Would Have Relished Promo Battle With Bray Wyatt

Wyatt’s unconventional character and way of approaching the wrestling business makes him a matchmakers dream, especially when it comes to storytelling. Another man who had a flair for the outlandish during his in-ring career was Mick Foley. Whether as Mankind, Cactus Jack or Dude Love, the WWE Hall of Famer was constantly pushing the boundaries of what was creatively and physically possible.

Speaking on his podcast, Foley Is Pod the Hardcore Legend said that he would have loved to have tangled with Wyatt in his prime. Foley also named Jon Moxley, Darby Allin and Ricochet as potential dream opponents.

“I would love to work with [Jon] Moxley, Bray Wyatt, I imagine the promos could be really cool,” he continued. “And I always liked working with people who had polar opposite styles of mine, so somebody like Darby Allin and Ricochet.”

Mick Foley was once scheduled to face Jon Moxley at SummerSlam in 2012, but he was unable to get cleared to compete. During an interview back in January, Foley outlined how a feud with Darby Allin could have gone down, commenting that he would have had fans fearing for the young stars life.

Bray Wyatt is yet to wrestle since re-signing with WWE, but recent confrontations with LA Knight appear to indicate that the former Max Dupri may be his first victim.
