WWE Legend responds to allegations about Triple H and AEW’s Bobby Lashley.
In June last year, MVP shared how Triple H didn’t agree with The Hurt Business reuniting, leading to discussions the former superstar called The Game a racist. However, he recently clarified that he never said the WWE Chief Content Officer was a racist, but pointed out that Bobby Lashley never flourished under his regime and was “reduced to a mid-card.”
The current AEW star also noted there’s barely any person of color on top of the main roster now, but noted that his issues with Triple H weren’t about race but rather about personal interactions and experiences.
This discussion was brought up to Dutch Mantell in his podcast Story Time with Dutch Mantell. The WWE legend says that Bobby Lashley wasn’t discriminated against because of his race, though he later added that he doesn’t know for sure. The former manager also shared that he doesn’t value much of what MVP says.
“And Bobby Lashley, I don’t think he’s been discriminated against because of his race. I don’t think. I have no idea. But anyway, that’s so he can talk, and he is what he is. SO I don’t put a lot of credence into what he says and don’t give a s**t.”
Dutch Mantell Comments On MVP’s Allegations About WWE CCO Triple H
In the same podcast, Dutch Mantell questioned MVP’s motivation for his comment and whether he can achieve anything from it. Mantell added that when something happens, it won’t be taken too seriously anymore because claims like this are becoming too overused.
“I don’t get it. I do not get it. I mean, how does that help you? They beat this racism thing into the ground. And when something does come across that could back that up, you know, they’ve already worn it out. You hear it, and you hear it, and you hear it.”
Dutch added that “he doesn’t want to be around the guy” if all they can talk about are topics like this, and that other people feel the same way as well.
