Karrion Kross still hopes to work with WWE again, despite “other people” in creative sabotaging his major angle.
Through June, July, and early August, Karrion Kross feuded with company man Sami Zayn on Monday Night RAW. Their feud resulted in two PLE bouts, both of which were won by Zayn, although Kross got a win back in between on RAW.

Karrion Kross Says WWE Pulled The Rug From Under, A Day Before Major RAW Angle
In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Karrion Kross was asked to comment on wrestlers being used less before being let go by WWE.
Kross revealed that in his case, there was a major angle set for Monday Night RAW after SummerSlam, but then some people within WWE creative killed it. The 40-year-old further noted that the company could revisit the angle, stating that it could still be “salvaged.”
The creative that we were supposed to do on Monday Night RAW got killed on Sunday [Night 2 of SummerSlam], and creative involved other people. I would love to tell people, I know they want to know, but that idea still could be salvaged for that other person who was involved. So, I don’t want to jack up their creative talking about it, but it was something really big and people would have really enjoyed it,” Karrion Kross said.
