WWE Finally Makes Heartbreaking John Cena Announcement On RAW

John Cena WWE RAW

WWE finally made a heartbreaking announcement regarding John Cena on RAW.

John Cena currently has only seven dates remaining on his farewell tour, which will come to an end on December 13. The tour is taking a whole new route when Brock Lesnar attacked him at the end of SummerSlam and took out Cena. The Beast then returned to attack Cena on his last SmackDown ever and challenged him to a match at Wrestlepalooza.

The star was previously rumored to be having his last WWE match in his hometown of Boston, but that won’t be the case. It was previously reported that Cena would have his last match in Washington, with fans being very disappointed that Boston wouldn’t be the location for the same.

WWE Officially Announced John Cena’s Final Boston Match

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Joe Tessitore, who was the play-by-play commentator on the show, stated that Cena would indeed be having his last match in Boston on November 10. The star would also be making his last appearance at the iconic MSG on November 17. This essentially means that Cena’s last match won’t be in his hometown of Boston and that is sure to dishearten fans.

The star has previously commented on this, stating that it was an honor for him to be stepping into MSG and Boston one last time for two more matches.

As the Farewell Tour makes its final stops I cannot express how lucky and grateful I am to be invited one last time to @TheGarden and the @tdgarden in Boston! Any Boston fans hitting the @KowloonSaugus after the show?! Might C U there!!”

It remains to be seen who he will face in his final match in Boston and at MSG in New York City. The star’s final opponent for his retirement match has also not been set, with speculations rampant that it could be anyone from Brock Lesnar to Gunther to AJ Styles.

It will be interesting to see who it will finally end up being.
