As per Fightful Select, it has been reported that WWE are interested in bringing back former talent, No Way Jose.
No Way Jose was released by WWE on April 15 during the mass talent exodus which saw the likes of Rusev, Zack Ryder and Mike Bennett among many others depart the company.
According to Fightful, however, WWE filed a recent trademark which many within NXT believed was designed for the star who is said to still be liked in both NXT and WWE’s main roster locker rooms.
Since leaving the company, Jose has been competing under the name Levy Valnez on the indies though he has only had one match since his final outing on Monday Night Raw. At Lariat pro Wrestling Guild on August 22, he teamed with Doc Gallows to defeat Air Pairs and Aleksandr Koloff.
No Way Jose began his WWE life as an NXT regular all the way back in 2015 under the label, Levis Valenzuela Jr. before being rechristened as the party animal No Way Jose on March 24, 2016 at a NXT Live event in Largo, Florida.
His lively attitude and conga line which would accompany him to the ring soon made him a lower-mid card favourite and he was called up to WWE’s main roster where he was used mostly as enhancement talent. He did, however, manage to attain sporadic victories on WWE Main Event.
At time of writing, WWE have released no official statement on the re-hiring of No Way Jose or shown any public interest in the talent.
