The Great Khali won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007, becoming the first Indian-born star to hold that title. Then in 2017, Jinder Mahal surpassed all expectations when he captured the WWE Championship from Randy Orton, becoming the first star of Indian descent to hold that gold.
