A WWE Hall of Famer and his young daughter have hilariously re-created the debut of John Cena from twenty years ago when he introduced the world to ruthless aggression.
It was on the 27th of June 2002 that John Cena answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge on SmackDown. Angle asked Cena what made him think he could take on the Olympic gold medallist with Cena growling the answer “ruthless aggression” before slapping the taste out of Angle’s mouth.
WWE has been celebrating the 20th anniversary of Cena’s debut throughout the month of June and John Cena joined the festivities twenty years to the day WWE fans around the world saw him give Kurt Angle a scare.
Now Kurt Angle has marked the occasion in his own way by re-creating the scene in his driveway with the role of John Cena played by his young daughter Sophia.
Taking to social media, the wrestling machine let the world see exactly what goes on in the Angle family, adding:
“First! let me explain about my kids, While other daughters want their daddys to play barbie dolls with them, mine asks to recreate their favorite daddy promo with me. Second! My daughter has a mean slap. So you can see why this one is her favorite Third! They have been waiting for this one for awhile, and of course I had to recreate the Ruthless Aggression Promo in daddy-Sophia style Forth! My neighbors probably think we are crazy 😆”
Back on SmackDown in 2002, despite Cena’s ruthless aggression, Angle picked up the victory over the upstart rookie. Given the look of that slap, he might not have the same luck if he went one-on-one with Sophia!
