A WWE Hall of Famer feels that they were unfairly miscast in the sitcom Young Rock.
The show tells the life story of Dwayne Johnson, starting out in the WWE as Rocky Maivia and eventually transforming into the household name known around the world today.

While the show has seen some casting choices highly praised, such as Becky Lynch’s portrayal of Cyndie Lauper, other historical portrayals have not been so warmly welcomed.
WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather, who was a part of The Nation of Domination with The Rock, has taken offence to one aspect of his casting in the TV show.
Speaking with The Attitude Era Podcast, The Godfather was not happy about being presented as shorter than The Great One on Young Rock:
“F**k Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. That Mot**rf**ker should never had Ceelo f**king Green portray me. I’m 6 foot 7, ok, and they portrayed me as somebody who’s 6 foot 1.”
The man known as Kama Mustafa in The Nation continued the expletive filled rant, further expressing his displeasure at the height difference:
“So, f**k the Rock, f**k him, m**herf**ker, f**k that ba**ard, , that mo**erf**ker f*cking 3 inches shorter than me and had me 5 inches shorter than me. F**k The Rock,”
Young Rock airs on the NBC Network in the USA and has aired for 3 seasons, debuting on TV screens in 2021.
The biographical show is juts one of many projects that Johnson is currently involved in. The Rock is set for a busy 2023, with the relaunch of the XFL being one of the new business ventures.
With rumours circulating about WWE being sold sometime soon, one of the potential buyers was speculated to be Johnson. The Rock himself has commented on the potential sale of the company in the near future.
