WWE has hit an internet milestone that very few have in the online world.

For fans looking to catch up on weekly TV segments or to have a nostalgic look back at a classic match or segment from previous eras, the YouTube channel has long been the go-to source. Additionally, with the service being available worldwide and free, many use the clips to keep up with the product instead of paying an additional subscription fee to watch Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

With YouTube becoming more and more popular over the past few years, this has been reflected by the subscriber account on WWE’s official channel. On March 6th, the channel passed 100 million subscribers, becoming the 10th channel on the platform to hit this major milestone.

In regards to the magnitude of this achievement, the promotion has more subscribers than music megastars Taylor Swift, Eminem and Ed Sheeran by a considerable margin. For reference, the most subscribed YouTube channel at the time of writing is T-Series, which has 261 million subscribers.

For anyone wondering, the most popular video on the channel was uploaded in October 2013, which saw Randy Orton continue the build towards his match with Triple H by targeting Stephanie McMahon. The video has amassed more than 315 million views.

On social media, Triple H has unboxed the red diamond plaque from YouTube, joining the elite club. Paul Levesque thanked the fans and everyone behind the scenes for making it all possible.

WWE Looks To Continue Digital Success

The strong online presence is promising news for WWE given that they will be partnering with Netflix to stream the majority of their content internationally at the start of 2025. The $5 billion deal will see Raw broadcast on the platform in the United States while the rest of the world will gain access to the other weekly TV shows and Premium Live Events.
