WWE Has Unexpected Plans For MFT And The Wyatt Sicks’ New Feud

The Wyatt Sicks and The MFTs of WWE SmackDown

The WWE Universe has featured faction wars for decades. Triple H has been a fan of stables, and the current era reflects this. Now there’s a big update on a rumored feud between two of the most dominant factions in the WWE Universe.

The Wyatt Sicks and MFT have both dominated the SmackDown tag team division but will now do battle with each other. My Family Tree emerged from The Bloodline’s Civil War, featuring Solo Sikoa at the top. The current United States Champion leads Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo.

Uncle Howdy aka Bo Dallas remains the frontman of the unique faction, which includes WWE Tag Team Champions Huskus the Pig Boy aka Joe Gacy and Mercy the Buzzard aka Dexter Lumis, as well as Ramblin’ Rabbit aka Erick Rowan and Abby the Witch aka Nikki Cross. Gacy and Lumis are now 40 days into their first reign after dethroning The Street Profits on SmackDown last month.

WWE teased a feud between The Wyatt Sicks and MFT this past Friday as a member of the Bray Wyatt-inspired faction was caught stalking the Bloodline spin-off. This was the kick-off to a feud that has been in the works.

WWE Moving Forward With The Wyatt Sicks vs. MFT

WWE officials have discussed a program between The Wyatt Sicks and MFT “for a short while now,” according to Bodyslam’s Viper, who received the scoop before Friday’s subtle tease.

It was noted then how sources were unable to provide an exact timeline for the feud, but it was believed to be happening in the near future. However, the reveal on Friday shows WWE’s Creative Writing Team has decided to pull the trigger on the latest SmackDown faction war.

MFT will be looking to become two-time WWE Tag Team Champions in the feud. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa/Jacob Fatu held the straps for 84 days back in the summer of 2024. The Sicks recently retained in a brutal multi-team match at SummerSlam.
