On November 26th, Survivor Series opened with the Women’s WarGames match which pitted Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Mia Yim against Damage CTRL, Rhea Ripley, and Nikki Cross.
The bout was a violent affair with bodies and weapons flying everywhere. Becky Lynch was the last woman to enter the match, making her return to the ring at Survivor Series after nearly four months on the shelf with a shoulder injury.
As soon as she entered, Lynch took out all five members of the opposing team to face off with Bayley. Then chaos ensued as Asuka took out Ripley with poison mist to the face while Cross prevented a mammoth Tower of Doom by downing Belair with a kendo stick. Later, IYO SKY hit a huge Moonsault from the top of the cage to leave everyone lying on the mat.
Nikki Cross, who has never forgiven Alexa Bliss for turning her back on her months ago, tried to handcuff her former friend to a the cage, but Bliss ended up handcuffing her to herself and slamming her into a chair.
The winning spot saw Big Time Becks take to the top of the cage and hit a huge Legdrop on both Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to send them through a table below.
