A WWE Hall of Famer has spoken out about the recent spat between Logan Paul and Kevin Nash.
The exchange was first started by Nash, who took issue with Paul not knowing wrestling terminology and stated that the WWE star is not “one of the boys” in an expletive rant. In response to this, Logan Paul cut a promo of his own against the former World Champion that was also filled with profanity.
With the videos not furthering a storyline on TV and with a match between the two being virtually impossible, AEW announcer Jim Ross believes that the exchange should not have happened in the first place.
Discussing the recent argument on his Grilling JR podcast, Ross stated that neither Paul nor the company benefited from the spat:
“It shouldn’t have been made public, I don’t think. Who did it help? It didn’t help Logan Paul. And I don’t know that it helped WWE. We’re talking about it so maybe it did and we’re just not acknowledging it.”
“But I would have probably preferred, if I was involved in talent relations… the talent should be smart enough not to light fires that they can’t address. In other words, they’re shooting an angle that’ll never happen. And that’s a waste of time.”
“There’s a million things Logan Paul, who’s still trying to get over – and he’s a hell of a hand – but he’s still… I don’t know how it helps everybody. It shows you where Logan Paul’s head is.”
Logan Paul Announces New Business Venture
Along with being a professional wrestler, Paul has also found success in social media and in the drinks industry with his brand Priem Hydration. Recently announcing his latest collaboration, Logan Paul has teamed up with Mr. Beast.
Also on his podcast, Jim Ross has spoken about AEW Grand Slam.
