WWE Hall Of Famer Surprised By How Well The Undertaker Has Taken To New Role

A WWE Hall of Famer says it’s “crazy” to see The Undertaker in a new setting.

In December, it was announced that The Undertaker will be coach in WWE LFG: Legends & Future Greats, The A&E series will see aspiring professional wrestlers attempting to secure a WWE contract while receiving training in the ring from legendary performers.

Another coach on the show is Hall of Famer Booker T, who has now given his thoughts on The Deadman’s move to a new role. Speaking to The Takedown on SI, Booker said Undertaker is as “real as can be” in the series.

“He’s as real as he possibly could be in this role. He’s as serious as he is. He’s probably the most serious guy in this whole damn thing, man. You know, because he, you know, you don’t want to tick him off. You know, you don’t want to, you know, crowd him or get too close to his space because he’ll bark at you. You know, he’ll bite a little bit. Yeah, it’s kind of crazy, you know, seeing him in this setting.”

Going on, Booker explained that it’s been “unique” to see The Phenom’s coaching style as he wasn’t sure it was a position he would be able to fit into.

“But he’s passionate about what he’s doing with his kids, which for me, is very, very unique to see, you know, Undertaker in this role.”

“To see him, his coaching style as well. Because, like I said, I’ve been doing it for 20 years. This is his first time actually in a coaching style setting a coaching role like this. How well will he actually do? Because my thing is, I’m like, man, this guy can’t, I mean, come on, just because you know how to do it don’t mean you can coach it. So he’s doing a hell of a job, and people are going to get a chance to see the real Undertaker at his finest, you know, teaching the next generation, you know, of superstars.”

The Undertaker Doesn’t Think Brock Lesnar Should Have Ended The Streak

The Undertaker thinks other WWE stars would have benefitted more from ending his WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. The Deadman named the likes of Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt as stars who could have been made bigger by getting the historic win, rather than Lesnar who was already established at the top.
