A WWE Hall of Famer has said that he is “very excited” at the prospect of his sons making the move to WWE and NXT.

D-Von Dudley has revealed that his sons Terrance and Terrell Hughes could be heading to NXT.

The pair began training in 2015 at their father’s Team 3D Academy. Under the name TNT, the pair have since become fixtures on the independent scene while also making occasional appearances on AEW Dark. However, it appears that the duo have severed ties with Tony Khan’s promotion in favour of a switch to WWE.

Speaking with The A2K Wrestling Show D-Von said that he was “very excited” at the prospect of them joining him in NXT, adding that they just need to polish up a few things.

“They just need to polish up on a couple of things and we’re bringing them in — we would love to bring them in. I think they’ll be ready when the time comes, when the opportunity is given.”

After claiming that AEW is “not the right fit” for his sons, he explained that he feels he has more trust in Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom.

“WWE now is the right place for them, especially with Paul [Triple H] being in charge and his vision, And Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom. Feel a lot better when I can trust my sons in the business under the Paul Levesque regime… I love the way things are running here now, and it’s nothing but positive vibes here in NXT and on the main roster.”

D-Von Dudley recently confirmed that he is currently working as a producer and coach in NXT.
