WWE Hall of Famer Slapped With $1000 Fine After Smoking With Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg appears at WrestleMania 39

Snoop Dogg made his triumphant return to WWE at WrestleMania 39, not only co-hosting the event but taking part in an impromptu match against The Miz.

During night two of the annual spectacular, The Miz was unexpectedly challenged by the returning Shane McMahon. However, disaster struck when Shane O’Mac landed awkwardly after performing a leapfrog, tearing his quad in the process.

As medics attended the fallen McMahon, Snoop Dogg took matters into his own hands, punching Miz in the face before laying him out and hitting his own version of The People’s Elbow to score the win to the delight of the audience.

During the latest edition of the Road Trip “AFTER HOURS” podcast, Hall of Famer Teddy Long praised the rap icon’s performance.

“Well, I think Snoop did a great job. Just to be Snoop, you know, he’s not a professional wrestler, so you don’t expect to see this guy moving around like you’re looking at a professional wrestler, but Snoop has been around the business for a long time.”

Teddy Long couldn’t resist smoking with Snoop Dogg

Long also spoke about his own history with the Grammy-nominated star, recalling the time he was fined $1,000 after smoking with him.

“We did a pay-per-view in Orlando, Florida and Snoop was there. That was the time that if you smoke w**d in WWE, you have to pay a fine if they caught you.

“At the time, the fine was like a thousand dollars. But I had a chance to go and smoke with Snoop. How many guys gonna say they had a chance to sit down and smoke with Snoop?

“I couldn’t afford that but I just said to myself, ‘They caught me, they get me, I’ll just go and pay the thousand or whatever.’

“But you can’t turn the opportunity down not to smoke with Snoop Dogg and I got a picture of that right now.”
