Gunther recently found himself at the receiving end of honest feedback from a WWE Hall of Famer.
In a recent episode of Hall of Famer Arn Anderson’s podcast, the legend opened up and shared his honest feedback on the current King of the Ring. At the namesake PLE in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, he defeated Randy Orton to win the tournament and earn a title shot at SummerSlam.
The former Intercontinental Champion has worked upon himself and is arguably one of the biggest threats on the main roster. Anderson acknowledged the fact and shared his opinion:
I’ve watched this guy off and on TV. This guy is like Manny Fernandez. This guy will stand there and chop you until your chest bleeds. He is a rough a guy. He stands in there and brings the fight to you and you gotta fight him back.”
The former Four Horsemen member further called out Gunther on X (Twitter) and heaped praises on him. He commented:
A pro’s pro and a great champion. I’m a big fan of what Gunther brings to the table and excited to see what the future holds for him.”
Currently involved in a feud against Damian Priest, The Ring General will take on the World Heavyweight Champion in Cleveland, and possibly add another title to his collection.
